At that very moment, without warning, the bedroom door was suddenly pushed open from the outside.
Caleb appeared at the doorway with a smile, a flicker of suspicion flashing in his eyes before he spotted Margaret sitting alone on the bed, lost in thought. He chuckled and said, "Margaret, what are you doing hiding in the bedroom all alone? Why is the power out in the house?"
Seeing Caleb suddenly appear at the door without any warning, Margaret was immediately startled. She glanced nervously toward the wardrobe, then quickly composed herself and said to Caleb, "I don't know either. The power suddenly went out. I called an electrician to fix it. Why are you back?"
