AT NIGHT
The new recruits already went to their room to rest for the day in preparation for tomorrow's decorations
"Sister, aren't you going to bed already" soo-bin said
"Dont worry, go to bed...I'll sleep later, I still have to tidy my things" soyeon said as she sat in front of the mirror
"OK then sleep early " soo-bin said as she went to bed. Meanwhile soyeon sitting in front of the mirror suddenly pulled her cloth down to her upper chest region
"Paa, I'm back" she said to her self while looking in the mirror

THE NEXT MORNING
The whole palace were busy in preparation for the upcoming big event taking place in the palace which high end officials would attend even rich people from states would come to attend the celebration.
"Sister please bring the tray of flowers from the corridor " soo-bin shouted to soyeon
"Ok" soyeon shouted back as she went for the flowers, while walking back to hand over the tray of flowers she accidentally bumped into a young man and the trap of flowers tripped and poured all over. He caught her right in time preventing her fall, they both starred into each other's eyes for a while
"My hands are getting numb" the stranger said breaking the silence
"I'm really sorry " she said as she bent her head low while trying to leave
"Wait" the stranger stopped
"Have we met before maybe?" He asked
"I am new to the capital, we couldn't have crossed paths" she said. Meanwhile all these were witnessed by Gyeong-hwa ( the princess ) . Soyeon had only taken a few steps forward when the princess suddenly called
"Gyeongwon " she called. Soyeon immediately stopped right in her tracks, recalling the name back to her childhood, the princess noticed the stop in her movement
"Why aren't you leaving?" The princess asked
"I'm leaving right away" she said as she left with her eyes filled with joy and questions. Meanwhile the princess and Gyeongwon continued with their conversation
"Where is the flowers tray?" Soo-bin asked
"Well..." she stuttered
"Never mind I'll get it myself " she said as she left. Meanwhile the princess was still talking to Gyeongwon
"My princess " he greeted
"I have told you to drop the formalities " she said with a smile
"Thats not possible my princess " he replied coldly
"Well.." she got interrupted
"If there's nothing more then I'll take my leave" he said as he left
"You.." she stuttered
"He didn't even look at me" she murmured to herself
"Hye-ji" she called
"My lady" she replied
"Find out about that maid and report immediately " she ordered as she left on her way she met Cheng Ji
"How can you pass by without paying respect to the princess " Hye-ji said
"Ha yoon " Cheng Ji called
"Yes my lady" she replied
"Did you really see anyone pass?" She asked
"Well.." she stuttered
"Never mind, I can't pay respect to a princess who doesn't own up to her responsibilities " she said as she was about to walk away
"Coming from someone who hasn't even been able to touch the strands of her so called husband hair after marriage even before marriage " Gyeong-hwa retorted, this also made the servants giggle
"You.." Cheng Ji got interrupted
"Lets go, I can't banter words with someone like her, especially not today" she said as she left
"Good, good Gyeong-hwa, I'll make you pay for this embarrassment " she said as she clenched her fist. Meanwhile soyeon was trying to find her way in the palace for the layouts, she passed through the corridors, the gardens, the library and many other places. She passed the kings chamber and as she was about peeking inside
"What are you doing?" A voice from behind asked, she froze right in place
"I'm new here and I got lost in the palace, I am currently trying to find my way back" she quickly explained with her head low
"Its you.." the voice said as she gazed up at him
"Have we met before?" She asked
"Are you pretending not to know me now?" He asked
"And who are you?" She asked confidently
"I..." he got interrupted
"My prince " Joon-Oh rushed in
"Whats the matter?" He asked
"The queen sends for you" he said
"Why would she suddenly send for me?" He asked
"How would I know that " Joon-Oh said
"OK let's go, and as for.." he turned back to soyeon but found her gone
"Where did she go to" he muttered to himself
"My prince let's go now" Joon-Oh urged
"Ok" he replied as he left
"I can't afford to get caught " soyeon said to herself as she hid in the corners
"Sister " soo-bin called
"I'm coming " she replied as she went off to meet her.

The long awaited night finally came, everyone welcome guests and important officials, the whole room was filled with the pleasant music coming from the musicians while everyone were still settling down when they had the arrival of the king
"His royal highness arrives!!!!!" The imperial guard announced as everyone stood up
"Long live His royal highness " everyone said as they bowed, meanwhile the king made his way up to his chamber to take his seat
"Her royal highness arrives!!!" The imperial guard announced again
"Long live Her highness " everyone said as they bowed, as she made her way to her chamber beside the king
"As we gather today with our hearts fill of joy and happiness, let us enjoy and drink all night " the king said as he raised his toast. Everyone followed suite and also raised their toast. The party went on, everyone drinking happily, the dancers were called to perform. Soyeon noticed the expression on Gyeongwon face as the dancers came on stage, his whole behavior completely changed, he even started tapping his wyn cup as though he was counting down, she immediately guessed it right "it was an attack". Suddenly the dancers rushed us to the king with a dagger and assassins stormed in. Soyeon knew this was her only chance
"Assassins!!!, protect the king" the imperial guard ordered. But it was too late, a strike was already headed at Jae-yang but fortunately soyeon took the strike for him and was stabbed in the stomach, she fell into the arms of the prince who looked at her worriedly, the assassins quickly retreated and soyeon was rushed back to her room by the prince
"Call the imperial physician " the prince ordered as he held soyeon in his arms rushing her to his room.
