Avery glanced around and said, "Let's go to the small living room to talk. Everyone else, please keep your distance."
Farrah turned and slowly walked to the small living room, sitting down and looking indifferently at Avery. "I hope your questions aren't just nonsense."
Avery got straight to the point. "I'll only ask you three questions. First question: Did you know that Maggie had decided to divorce Nicolas before the incident?"
This question was clearly beyond Farrah's expectations.
Farrah was stunned for a moment before shaking her head. "I didn't know." Then, she asked, "Is this true?"
Avery replied, "It's true."
"Impossible." Farrah shook her head. "On the night of the incident, I told her that Nicolas promised to marry me and urged her to hurry up and divorce him. She clearly told me that she would never get a divorce. She wanted me to always be the hidden mistress and for my children to forever be regarded as illegitimate."
