---------------

My name is Custard.

She is the sixth daughter of the Charlotte family.

I have many half-siblings, but only three full siblings from the same mother—my brother, Charlotte Cracker, and my sister, Charlotte Angelo.

I also have a half-brother named Wilhelm, the twenty-second son of the Charlotte family. He is known to be a true prodigy, a natural-born monster.

For the longest time, I was proud and arrogant, believing I wasn't much worse than anyone else. I even doubted the rumors about Wilhelm's strength.

That was until I saw it with my own eyes.

He had just returned from training on some beast-infested island. At only nine years old, he completely overpowered my brother Cracker, who already had a bounty of over 200 million Berries and possessed the Paramecia-type Biscuit-Biscuit Fruit.

That impossibly handsome face, his noble yet ruthless demeanor, the sheer talent he was born with…

I was stunned.

I had never seen such a perfect person in my life!

In that instant, I completely fell for this cold and powerful younger brother. Don't get me wrong—it was purely sibling admiration, nothing else…

From that moment on, I couldn't help but want to get closer to Wilhelm. But my brother Cracker had offended him, and Wilhelm wasn't the type to forget.

Wilhelm was always training.

He rarely stayed on Whole Cake Island for long, and even when he did, he preferred solitude in the Seducing Woods outside the town.

The few times I managed to run into him, I was thrilled, eager to greet him. But every time, the moment I faced that piercing gaze—one that seemed to look straight into my soul—I froze. My mind went blank, and I couldn't bring myself to speak.

Wilhelm would simply give me a brief, indifferent nod before walking away without stopping.

As if I were a stranger.

It left me feeling dejected, yet I had no idea how to change our distant relationship.

Then, about three and a half years ago, he suddenly returned from his training with a young and beautiful woman by his side, declaring that she would stay with him as his maid.

Her name was Olive, a well-known female pirate with a bounty of 50 million Berries.

I soon realized that Wilhelm seemed to favor her. She was stunning, with an incredible figure—though, of course, not quite as good as mine. He often personally guided her training, something I could only envy from a distance.

Almost three years ago, Wilhelm followed our older brother Katakuri into battle against pirates foolish enough to challenge the Big Mom Pirates.

During one of these fights, some clueless fool tried to take advantage of Olive, thinking he could get away with it.

I personally stepped in, warned him, and made sure he was punished.

That was when Wilhelm and I finally started to develop a real bond.

They often trained together, and in the process, Olive would occasionally ask about Wilhelm's whereabouts.

Honestly, I think Olive is a bit slow. Moonwalk, Tempest Kick, Shave—I've watched her struggle with these techniques for three years. Meanwhile, after countless attempts, I had already mastered them. Yet, she still hadn't.

She hadn't even managed to grasp Armament Haki.

I simply couldn't understand what my brother Wilhelm saw in her.

However, after getting to know Olive, I learned more about Wilhelm—his preferences, his habits, and, most importantly, his favorite dessert: Lily Cake.

So, in secret, I decided to try making it myself.

At first, it was a disaster. After a week of failed attempts, I had no choice but to swallow my pride and ask the head chef, Long Bread, for guidance.

It was a grueling month. From being scolded relentlessly by that old bastard to finally earning his approval, I eventually learned how to make a decent Lily Cake.

With high hopes, I had one of the Homies deliver it to Olive, instructing her to pass it on to Wilhelm.

I even threatened her—she was to keep it absolutely confidential and not tell anyone that the cake came from me.

But then—

The cake I had put so much effort into was returned to me, completely untouched.

The reason?

Wilhelm was simply too popular.

Across Whole Cake Island, and even throughout the seas of Totto Land, there were countless women obsessed with him. Some were so devoted that they swore they would never marry, choosing instead to dedicate their lives to waiting for him.

Every single day, love letters flooded in. Girls would send flowers, rare fruits, gourmet pastries—

Gifts piled up at the entrance of his villa daily.

Under Wilhelm's orders, Olive returned every single one.

And if they couldn't be returned, she simply threw them away.

My heart, once full of anticipation, was instantly crushed.

A few months ago, Wilhelm left again to train on his own.

Not long after, my brother Cracker married a princess from some kingdom, but Wilhelm—who had never gotten along with him—did not return for the wedding.

It was rumored that he had gone straight to the first half of the Grand Line.

To make matters worse, the three Smoothie sisters, who had always been close to him—something I could never achieve—actually snuck away from Juice Island to go after him.

Left behind on Whole Cake Island, I found myself growing restless. With nothing better to do, I trained with Olive and even gave her some guidance.

I often took her along to fight arrogant pirates who dared to challenge the Big Mom Pirates in Totto Land's waters. Real battles were the best way for her to improve.

Today, like usual, I went looking for Olive.

But instead—

I unexpectedly ran into someone else.

Wilhelm!

The Wilhelm standing before me now was even more perfect than the image of him on the bounty poster I had pinned beside my bed—cool, handsome, and utterly flawless!

But seeing him standing so close to Olive made my heart ache for reasons I couldn't explain.

Ah! I wish I could be that close to Brother Wilhelm!

"Brother Wilhelm, you're back—so close!"

Standing at the entrance of his villa's courtyard, I took a deep breath, trying to steady myself.

I pushed aside the joy bubbling in my chest—and the faint sting of jealousy—forcing my mind to clear. Keeping my expression as calm as possible, I greeted Wilhelm.

"Sister Custard, you came just in time."

Wilhelm smiled and nodded. "Come in."

He had always known that I secretly watched him.

For more than three years, while he trained Olive, he had caught me more than once hiding behind a tree, peeking at them from a distance.

Even Olive had told him how often I asked about his preferences—though I always tried to make it seem casual.

She must have told him about how I went through the trouble of learning to make Lily Cake from Long Bread.

Unbeknownst to me, aside from our mother, Charlotte Linlin, who had a vast love for all kinds of desserts, Wilhelm's favorite had always been Lily Cake.

Long Bread, who was no fool, had already figured out my intentions.

And at some point, he had privately told Wilhelm about it.

"Huh?"

I froze, eyes widening in disbelief.

Wilhelm wasn't acting indifferent.

His expression was warm, almost welcoming. His presence felt like a gentle spring breeze, completely different from how he usually treated me.

"Lady Custard, why are you just standing there?"

Olive stepped forward with a teasing smile, taking my hand. "Come on, hurry inside!"

She had long noticed how much I asked about Wilhelm.

At first, she had thought I was trying to dig up Wilhelm's weaknesses for my brother Cracker—perhaps to help him regain his pride.

But she soon realized that wasn't the case at all.

Not only did I hold no resentment toward Wilhelm, but in private, I cared about him deeply.

I was, without a doubt, a total Brocon.

Yet, despite my overwhelming admiration, I had never found the courage to get close to him.

It was true—I adored Wilhelm down to my very core.

But I was simply too shy to say it aloud.
