I was buzzing as the nurse carefully cut off the cast on my ankle and placed a light brace on it. I had been waiting for the day to come with blue eyes for the past two weeks and now that it was here I could practically taste freedom.
Edward sat in the chair next to the bed in the doctors consultation room. He was typing away on his phone and had that stressed furrowed look between his eyebrows. I wondered what it was now but decided not to pry when we had someone else in the room.
Eventually they were done and the doctor gave me strict instructions to follow before we left. When we got to the car, Edward finally let out a major sigh and rested his forehead against the steering wheel. "As if my week couldn't get anymore shit."
I chuckled and gave him a small smile, "what is it?"
