『Cyan's Perspective』
I slowly opened my eyes. Pain coursed through my body, then my head, but it disappeared as quickly as it had appeared. It felt uncomfortable, as if someone had stuck burning needles into my body and then thrown me into a tub of ice. I closed my eyelids for a moment, trying to calm these sensations, but finally a familiar image forced me to wake up completely.

It was impossible not to recognise it: how many times had I ended up here?
"Ha... ha..." A sigh escaped my lips.
"Well, you're finally awake," said a soft voice.
I turned my face slightly and saw her, in her immaculate white coat and with that gentle smile she always gave me, even when I was on the brink of death.
"Yes..." I murmured, my throat rough.
"This time it was quite serious, Cyan," she scolded gently, placing her hands on her waist. "How many times have I told you to take better care of your body?"
