Today's breakfast had been a long one. Luis's siblings and his cousin had kept pestering their grandfather with many questions. Well, mostly Kael and Emberlyn. He and Lira asked a few fewer questions.
Luis also knew his younger sister was more of the observant type anyway.
Luis didn't mind Kael and Emberlyn asking most of the questions, as he was curious about many of the things they asked.
Some of the questions were about Phoenix clan blessings, as Luis's parents hadn't told much about them, while Emberlyn asked questions about the old Phoenix clan headquarters because her parents hadn't told her much about that, but had about the Phoenix clan blessings.
Luis and his siblings had been told many things about the Phoenix clan headquarters and how they used to live, but one of the things he had learnt today was about the clan guardians. He never knew the clan had such powerful forces that could come back to life. This made him understand more why people wanted the Phoenix clan's blessings.
Luis was currently in his room, touching the pendant that was given to him. Luis chuckled, remembering how Emberlyn and his siblings were jealous that Luis got one and they didn't.
Renaros had just replied, saying if they wanted one, they should also become twelve years old. At which they all grumbled.
He had also told Luis that he could change the shape into anything. However, it drained too much mana for him to do that. He would use way too much aura if he wanted to make it anything intricate. All he had done was make it into a simple ring necklace, and it felt like he used half his aura.
He was also told something through *Flameborn Connection* that Renaros didn't tell the others, which was that the necklace was a protection charm and that he should never ever take it off.
'I tried asking mom and grandfather about what this would do, but they didn't even reply, no matter how much I asked, they even told me not to tell anyone what this was.' Luis sighed while thinking.
Luis stopped fidgeting with the necklace he had more important matters to attend to today. His mother told him in the morning that today it was finally time for him to get his next two blessings.
His mother told him that he didn't have to leave the Xoliti clan for the first blessing since it was gonna be given from their deity, he didn't even have to leave the room since it could give it from a few kilometers away.
But he went and sat in the living room instead, since his mother told him it would be better to get it in front of everyone and practice it as well.
His mother also told him that today, Uncle Raine would return as well as Aunt Sera. Luis assumed that was the reason he didn't see his dad this morning.
Around four after breakfast, Luis sat down in the living room, sat cross-legged on the floor while everyone else sat on any chairs or sofas.
"So, how long until I get the blessing?" Luis asked, his curiosity leaving him impatient.
Elena responded, "Well, one of the Xoliti clan members will tell the Xoliti clan deity when it arrives."
"Wait, arrive so you know what blessing I'm gonna get."
Elena nodded and smiled, "Yep, but you should find out yourself when it happens, it's fun if it's surprising."
"yeah.." Luis said in a non-excitement voice.
Uncle Raine's wife, Aunt Zira, as Luis would say, then chimed in "Well, there are ten different blessings the deity can give you since it can only be purely a support type."
Luis was about to ask for a hint at what it could be when he felt it. A foreign force. Just like with the Lynx and baby rock golem. He could feel the intent of the Alicorn. It was offering something to Luis. Luis could tell what he thought would happen. If he wanted to reject it, his soul, body would reject the blessing, and if he wanted to accept it his body would accept the blessing, and of course,e Luis accepted.
Far off in the distance other side of the city, an unseeable beam of white light left the body of the Alicorn it flew past the city, the walls, the people until it reached where Luis was and flew into his body.
Luis closed his eyes. Looking at his core. Waiting for the change to happen, but surprisingly, nothing happened. He knew his body accepted the blessing, he could even feel which core had it, but unlike the Lynx and rock golem blessing, it didn't change the color or anything.
The rock golem blessing was also a support blessing, but it still changed the color. This one didn't for some reason.
Luis opened his eyes, noticing the intense stare of his siblings and cousin, curiosity beaming in their eyes. He also noticed the gazes of the adults, Renaros, Elena, and Zira, not curious as it seemed like they might have known what the blessing was.
"Um, how do I tell what the blessing is?" Luis asked
"Just stand up and think about using it, think about standing on your left and on your right," Zira responded.
Luis was a bit confused but did as told.
As Luis thought of that, two beams of translucent aura shot out of him. From the left half of his body and his right half. The energy moved to his sides until it took form. The form of a figure. With short hair, the same height as Luis, and wearing the same clothes as him. 'Wait, isn't that ME?' Luis thought
Luis took a few steps forward, just staring at himself. Both the clones looked identical. The exact same.
Instead of Luis exlaming Kael and Emberlyn did.
"There are three of Luis's," Kael spoke in surprise.
"That's the clone blessing I always wanted ittt" Emberlyn spoke in surprise and jealousy.
Luis was still shocked, he felt so weird looking at himself like this, it was so different then a mirror. 'Emberlyn said clone blessing, I guess that makes sense'
"CLONES THAT'S SO COOL, I WANT ONE!!!!" Kael said.
"LUIS LUIS control then make them do something, point at yourself, that's gonna be funny."
Zira replied from the couch, "Luis, just think about what you want them to do, that's how they move, but since it's your first time, if you think about it and do the action, it will work better."
'Oh, so let's see point at myself,' Luis thought while raising both his hands to point at each clone.
"WOW," Kael exclaimed
The clones both raised their hands and also pointed at Luis and one another, forming a triangle of sorts, where Luis pointed at himself.
But after doing that, the clones suddenly vanished. "Huh, what happened?" Luis said
Zira replied once more, "You didn't use enough aura, they could only be programmed to do one task each. Every task they do uses aura, and you can only put a maximum of 20% of your aura in each."
Luis nodded in understanding. "Wait, so is it like what Lira does?"
Elena replied then "No, unlike Lira, your clones are tangible, which means they can attack or do what you want them to, not illusions."
