Caleb could read Jess's thoughts from her hardened expression, prompting him to reassure her again. In line with his words came the realisation that Jess was outmatched in this situation.
'I need to get her out of here…' Caleb's eyes darted around as he spotted the person he was searching for. Noticing the tigerkin had his eyes on him, Caleb whispered into Jess's ears as he shifted his eyes to Luc and his men.
"Remember the tigerkin…?" The catwoman nodded. "Good… He plans on helping us break out of this encirclement."
"Is that even doable with this many people?" Jess questioned skeptically.
"You don't have to fight." Caleb explained. "You two just have to get out of here while I hold them back."

For a moment, Jess didn't reply, her brows deeply furrowed. "Don't you dare get hurt." She warned.
"Hehe, you don't have to worry." Caleb rose to his feet with Jess clinging to his hips. Staring directly at the hooded figure, he said: "Let's make a deal…"
