The captain moved swiftly through the castle corridors, scrolls in hand.
When he reached the grand hallway outside the throne room, he came to an abrupt stop.
There—standing calmly with arms folded behind his back, was the royal advisor, dressed in ceremonial deep-green robes.
The advisor turned just slightly as the captain approached.
"Captain."
"I'm sorry, sir," the captain said at once, his voice steady but urgent. "We have an important message. It arrived not long ago."
The advisor raised an eyebrow, not moving.
"Just wait a moment," he said coolly. "The messenger from Armand has already arrived. He is currently in a private meeting with his majesty, King Lioness."
The captain paused—momentarily surprised.
A messenger from Armand? Already?
He took one step closer.
"…Sir, with respect. This is also from Armand."
He held up the first scroll, showing the sealed emblem.
