Having said all that, Miss Hevnia naturally knew how to respond to Mandy, so she cleverly replied, "I understand, Mom."
Mandy's face beamed with satisfaction, "Just remember that if such a situation arises again, make sure to consult me first, you know I have crossed more bridges than you have walked roads."
At this, she paused, and then continued,
"That woman, she is ultimately a hazard, take care of her, and do not draw anyone's attention."
"And even if your father comes to know, do not say that I told you to do it, understand?"

Miss Hevnia continued to nod obediently, "I won't disappoint you."
