Chapter 261 - Chapter 261: Disciplining Parthenon

In mid-air, Lu Jun silently counted a few seconds. As if sensing something, he looked up at the sky. At some point, the clouds and mist had taken on a faint cyan hue, blending with the blue sky.

He gave a light smile—reinforcements had arrived. He leveled his gaze at Dikaios's, who was struggling against the two ghostly figures.

Boom—boom—boom!

Immediately, water vapor surged around Lu Jun. Above his head, a dark blue Water Repelling Bead floated, and he unleashed a level-4 Heavenly River Burst with unrelenting force.

Dark blue mist converged into a torrential dark blue river that spanned the skies, crashing down like a waterfall. The power of withering exploded, and the void sizzled with corrosive sounds.

In the midst of battle,Dikaios's was alarmed. He looked at the furious wave—its power multiplied by 4.5 times under the Water Repelling Bead—and hastily drew on his strength. A massive brown barrier shot up in defense.

Bang! A thunderous boom echoed. The dark blue waterfall slammed fiercely into the wind barrier.

The scattered brown hurricane fragmented into chaotic air currents flying in all directions. The collapsing dark blue torrent splashed into a shattered cascade, sweeping out.

The Water of Death splashed onto the airport's specially reinforced runway, carving out small, ugly trenches along the water's path, brimming with the aura of death.

Seeing this,Dikaios's was shocked. Good thing he hadn't relied on his Soul-grade Earth Element Rock Barrier to forcibly take the blow otherwise, his flesh would've melted away by half.

The Withering Talent drastically enhanced Water Magic's lethality. It was the ultimate Yin and softness, dissolving all things invisibly, nothing it could not erode.

Lu Jun cast spells with extreme speed. His eyes flashed, and Mist of Fear struck Dikaios's spiritual barrier. Meanwhile, his Tidal Wave spells never ceased one wave after another of dark blue surges swept through the air.

Dikaios's was barely managing—fending off two ghostly entities, diverting focus to resist mental attacks, and unable to let the Tidal Waves crash in. The pressure mounted.

Because the tide effects of Tidal Wave continued to stack from standard Advanced-level might at first, they had now escalated to Soul-grade Advanced might.

At that moment, a shadow writhed behind him. The elegant figure of the Night Thunder Dream Beast emerged, lightning flickering on its horns. A terrifying beam of Dark Thunder Deathray blasted out.

Zzzzzzt—!

Dikaios's was horrified. There was actually a Commander-level Summoned Beast lurking! Caught off guard, the Silent Thunder Deathray pierced through the tornado and rock barrier, blasting into his back.

Boom! He hurriedly summoned his Armor Artifact, but even that was mostly shattered. Blood trickled from the corner of his mouth.

Almost the instant Dikaios's rhythm faltered and his breath disordered, Lu Jun seized the opportunity. His eyes suddenly widened, faintly morphing into black-red spider compound eyes.

A Nether Rift opened above his opponent, and layer upon layer of spider webs descended like curtains, binding his entire body.

But it wasn't over. The Night Thunder Dream Beast's black and white mane stood on end. Black mist surged skyward, enveloping the heavens. Dozens of shadow spikes stabbed into the ground in a circle, weaving a magnificent Dark Binding Formation.

The two Yin-Yang Wraith Fiends' eyes shimmered. Pale gray petrification spread across Dikaios's skin, dimming the star systems in his spiritual world.

Dikaios's body froze. His mind became rigid. He was utterly immobilized.

Once Lu Jun got serious, his Curse, Water, and Summoning systems all came out, flawlessly demonstrating his combat strength. He had subdued a dual Soul-grade, triple Advanced system powerhouse.

Dikaios's strength, placed in next year's National Institute Tournament, could easily rank in the top ten.

While he settled the battle with ease, down Golcken's face darkened as he cursed inwardly: "Useless trash."

"Very good." A Parthenon Temple instructor sneered coldly, "You've angered me. I was just playing with you before. The dignity of a Super-tier Mage is not to be questioned."

A battered Mo Fan cursed furiously from the side, "F*cking bastard, bullying the weak!"

High in the sky, Lu Jun held Dikaios's with one hand, not descending. His expression remained calm and indifferent as he looked down. "Take a look behind you. If you want to cause trouble on Chinese soil, next time take a piss and look in the mirror first."

As his words fell, Glocken sensed a deadly aura. His heart pounded in terror, as if a cold venomous snake was breathing against his neck.

His neck stiffly turned around why was it pitch-black? He couldn't see anything.

Suddenly, Glocken's whole body jolted as if struck by lightning, trembling uncontrollably.

He seemed to realize something. In disbelief, he raised his eyes and saw an enormous black mountain of a body.

Looking further up, there were layers upon layers of shocking blue-black scales. Even higher he thought he'd see its head but still more towering body!

Finally, within the clouds, Glocken tilted his entire head back to the limit and finally beheld the terrifying creature's head.

That serpent's skull slowly descended from the heavens. Glocken's private plane wasn't even as large as the serpent's head.

Its horrifying forked tongue slowly extended downward, dripping with saliva that splashed across Glocken's now-paralyzed body.

Drip, drip!

The saliva was viscous. Glocken's golden elegant hairstyle and his luxurious golden robe were all ruined, yet he still dared not move, his soul nearly fleeing in terror.

As a temple clergy member and an outstanding super-tier mage, there were very few things in this world that could make him feel utterly soul-shattered just by a glance.

But here, in Jiuzhou, on the land of Hangzhou, he saw... he saw the most terrifying creature he had ever encountered!!

Lu Jun just landed, and the black ghost fiend floating behind him swung roughly, slamming Dikaios—tightly bound by magic—harshly onto the ground. He scraped himself like a dog being bitten, spitting out bits of stone dust, covered in dirt.

Seeing this scene, Mo Fan was stunned. Even though he knew the Hangzhou Totem Black Snake had an unusual connection with Lu Jun, he still swallowed nervously.

After a moment, he lost his fear. That's right, this giant snake, capable of a one-on-one fight with the Mountain Corpse, was on their side.

So Mo Fan straightened his back and swaggered Glocken, pointing a finger at his chest, a mischievous smile on his lips: "So? Still acting arrogant?"

Glocken opened his mouth to speak, but before he could, sudden sharp pain struck his left cheek, his vision blackened, and Mo Fan's fist knocked him down to the ground.

"You!"

The temple mentor was furious, about to curse, but thinking of the giant snake watching from above, his words stuck in his throat.

Hahaha, Mo Fan was arrogant, relying on borrowed power. He grabbed Glocken's collar with one hand, a cold smile with no warmth curling his lips: "Still forcibly abducting people now?"

Meanwhile, Lu Jun was equally ruthless, kicking Dikaios—who tried to lift his head—down so his cheek rubbed closely against the ground, looking flattened.

He stepped on Dikaios' head and coldly asked, "Are the Huaxia people just Eastern monkeys now?"

Wuuu!

Dikaios desperately shook his head, but since his head couldn't move, all he could do was cry in fear.

Smack! Lu Jun's eyes flashed black and red. The power of curses condensed a black whip inside Dikaios' mind, lashing his spirit mercilessly.

While tormenting Dikaios' soul, he coldly questioned, "What is that?"

"Wuuu."

"Oh? Equal races, huh? Wrong!"

Smack! Lu Jun mercilessly whipped him again.
