Cherreads

Chapter 91 - Chapter 90 – He Must Be a Big Shot!

Su Chen grilled the fish to perfection. The rich aroma filled the air, making it incredibly appetizing just to look at.

His cooking skills were undoubtedly impressive, and the viewers in the livestream chat were visibly excited.

The sense of immersion was so strong that watching Su Chen prepare grilled fish felt like they were doing it themselves.

Thanks to how delicious his food looked, the number of viewers in the livestream kept climbing—practically shooting up in a straight line.

More and more people were starting to follow him. If you didn't know, you wouldn't believe it—but one glance and you'd be shocked.

My god~ This is insane! This growth rate is on par with the top streamers!

Su Chen stared at the rapidly increasing viewer count, his eyes practically lighting up.

Good thing he had on his clown mask—no one could see that he was spacing out, and even more importantly, no one had a clue who he really was.

After zoning out for a few seconds, he snapped back to reality.

Su Chen's stomach began to rumble—it was mealtime.

He was smart about it. He had perfectly timed everything, and the process of grilling the fish was not only interesting to watch, but had also attracted quite a few fans.

Now it was time for the big move!

Su Chen was convinced that this would be his fastest follower spike yet.

It was twelve noon—the prime lunch hour in most people's daily routine.

That meant this stream would definitely benefit from the "meal rush."

He placed the grilled fish on the table and pulled out an ice-cold Coke from inside his RV.

Of course, he never showed the RV to his audience—Su Chen was extremely protective of his privacy. He would never casually reveal any personal details, let alone show something as sensitive as his RV. That was a huge no-no.

The viewers in the chat could barely contain themselves.

("Wow~ I'm so jealous! He even has Coke! Living the dream!"

"That grilled fish smells amazing—I'm literally biting into a steamed bun while watching this and pretending it's grilled fish."

"I'm actually drooling. Can I have a bite? Just licking the fish bones would be enough!"

"I'm so tired of saying the word 'jealous'—I really, really want to eat that!"

"Brothers and sisters, I've arrived at the fish pond! There's gotta be fresh fish in here—wait for my good news!")

Everyone in the chat was envious. Eating grilled fish in a paradise-like setting? That's basically a god-tier life. Who wouldn't be into that?

No one can resist the combo of good food and beautiful scenery.

And right now, Su Chen had both.

After finishing the fish, Su Chen wiped his mouth and leaned back in his chair.

He glanced at his follower count—what the heck?! Over ten thousand now!

And the numbers kept climbing. Since he wasn't planning to go out scavenging today anyway, he figured—why not go all in and aim for the livestream's highest-tier reward?

He clenched his fist and whispered, "Yeah! Let's do this!"

He had never had this many people watching him before. It was honestly a little overwhelming.

Thankfully, the clown mask gave him a boost of confidence. Maybe it was just a psychological crutch, but it really did make him feel a lot better.

Isn't that what life's about? Forget about money, forget about what others think—as long as you're happy, that's enough. Everything else can wait.

If you're going to do something, do it all the way. If you're going to stream, stream to the fullest. Su Chen figured, might as well do a full-day stream—at least that way it wouldn't be a waste.

Normally after lunch, Su Chen would go out scavenging for supplies. But not today—what if someone who was watching his stream ran into him?

That would be social suicide. The air itself would get awkward.

As he worried about that possibility—

Suddenly! A lightbulb went off in Su Chen's head. He thought of a hot topic that was currently trending.

A subtle smile crept onto his face. This might just blow up the internet!

Su Chen took a deep breath and began to speak into the mic for a voice chat with his viewers.

"Hey everyone, I'm Cherry Tomato. Welcome to my livestream."

Before he even finished the sentence, the chat exploded.

("HOLY CRAP! The streamer isn't mute after all!"

"I was literally just saying we should show some love to lonely elderly folks, but now that I've heard his voice—I believe it. He's a young guy!"

"Clown Daddy! Forever a legend!"

"Yo, forever a legend!")

Viewers even started giving Su Chen nicknames.

He had now officially become a celebrity in the RV World. Out of the 3.5 billion people on Earth, nearly 2 billion had clicked into his stream at some point and learned something about him.

Seeing how popular he'd become, Su Chen was over the moon.

Bit by bit, he was overcoming his fear of livestreaming. He was starting to change.

"My plan for today is to stream for a full day and share what a typical day in my life looks like. If you're interested, feel free to watch along!"

Now, even a few words from Su Chen could cause a stir. That's top-tier status for you.

("No way, no way—this is how rich people live? So simple and humble?"

"OMG, streaming all day?!"

"This is so entertaining—I'm totally following."

"Everyone calm down. Don't scare my husband."

"Shameless!")

...

"I'm heading into my RV now to watch a movie. If you guys have any movie requests, let me know and I'll play them for you."

After he said that, the whole chat was stunned. Wait, what?!

Watch a movie? In that busted RV? No way that thing has a home theater setup.

It had to be a joke, right?

Thousands of viewers suddenly sharpened their attention, watching Su Chen's every move like hawks. His next action could shake the entire platform.

They watched as Su Chen stepped into the RV and turned on the air conditioning.

Of course, no one could see what was outside the RV—he had made sure to keep all personal details off-camera. If people discovered his real identity, it would be game over.

Most viewers had never even seen what an upgraded RV looked like. One by one, their eyes filled with envy—some were so shocked they nearly dislocated their jaws.

Where had all those haters gone? The chat was now flooded with praise for Su Chen.

But Su Chen didn't let it go to his head. All he wanted was to livestream an ordinary day in his life. To him, this kind of lifestyle was completely normal.

Almost every day, he'd eat some meat, watch a bit of TV when he had free time.

And as far as anyone could tell, Su Chen was the only person in the world who had upgraded their RV. The viewers were practically green with envy now.

Compared to earlier streams, it felt like this was a totally different channel. Su Chen was streaming with way more confidence now.

("Oh my god—turns out he really is a legit rich guy!"

"Hubby, how could you not wait for me~?"

"I'm betting 50 cents—this guy is definitely some ultra-elite big shot!")
