Banou's son wedding is organised by the Li Jun's side. Thus she doesn't need to do anything. However she still prepare some accessories prepare for the new daughter-in-law. Banou make efforts to look around and ask for the best craftsmen to make a set of jewellery collection.
While Min Min's marriage is plan as usual. It isn't grand like how the royal family does it but Banou provided they enough money to purchase a little place to built a home. The flags of Tang and Baekje fly high on the carriage. They drive the carriage to the royal place firstly to pay respect to the ancestors as well as Li Jun and consort Wu. Banou remain in her own mansion. She excitedly hear from her servants what the couple is going through. She goes down on her knees to pray for her son and a new daughter-in-law.
The second day, Li Xing brings His new wife to meet his mother. Li Cheng and Banou waited for them patiently to come visit. When they arrive, they are received grandly. The young couple knee before the prince and Banou. They offer cup of tea. Banou happily accepted and present the gift to MinJin and she shyly accept the gift. After that they have lunch together before they goes off to visit the dowager Along with the Emperor and Empress.
Day change to weeks and move to months. Li Xing brings good news of the pregnancy. MinJun writes home on the good news too. Everything good is happening to Banou's life, she is thankful for it. Min Jun move in the mansion to live with Banou as her mother-in-law knows better what to do. Also Consort Wu doesn't disagree with the ideal as they can save more money with Li Jun not working thus their income is lesser than usual. With lesser mouths to feed, MinJun moving to Li Cheng's mansion is a much better ideal.
Nine months come and MinJin did not show any sign that she is going to delivery a child. Everyone is feeling anxiety as her tummy is bigger than usual. The physician have check her condition there is nothing wrong and she should expect a baby soon. Nine days after the due date, the baby decided to come out into the world. MinJin have a hard time from early afternoon she is screaming in the bedroom till the wee morning she is still inside. Li Xing is in jilters and he run off to a nearby temple for prayers. Even with the temple door close, he kneel outside asking for the gods for help. He ride back as fast as he can and still find his wife in labour. Banou mean while is in her prayer room. She feels uneasy for MinJin. Finally the child is born on the following day when the sun is high. However due to loss of a lot of blood. She is unconscious. MinJin sleep for three days and wake up looking weak.
Three weeks pass, one of the twins find MinJin have collapse in her bedroom as the door is open slightly. He peek in and run off yelling for help. Banou who is playing with the new born grandson is shock. She depend on Wang MoMo who hurry off to see what had happen. A physician is summon and arrive as soon as he can. He check to find that MinJin have blood clot in her uterus and she might be in danger. Also she is having high fever. After three days of discovering that she is unwell, she pass away. Li Xing over night have become a widower. He sit by his wife's corpse till the coffin is ready for her to be place inside. That day, the rain comes down heavy for them. As if the sky is crying along with the Li family. The royal family permit her to be buried as a princess in a grand style. Her family from Baekje rush to Tang as fast as they can. Her father scream at Li Xing for not protecting his daughter. He raged and throw everything in front of him away including his manners and language. He forgotten how to speak in Mandarin and yell cry in his own words. His wife a small woman kneel by Li Xing and hold his hand. Banou continue to care for the little one till after the burial of MinJin. Finally Kim MinJin's parents take a look at the little one. They cry as this is the son that their daughter had left behind.
