The bards' tales about dragons destroying kingdoms and seizing their treasures often referenced the Red Dragon. After all, only the Red Dragon had both the looks and the strength, combined with its chaotic and evil nature to act as it pleased. Could you count on an orderly Blue Dragon or Green Dragon, or the meek Black Dragon and White Dragon, to pull something like that?
