The believers of the Blood God Sect changed color, each trying to use Aerial Stepping to escape back to the surface. However, they couldn't gain altitude; a force was pulling them down, interfering with their Aerial Stepping.
Even the elite Five Senses of the Church were unable to break free from this sinister effect, and could only descend in rage and fear.
Fortunately, although Aerial Stepping had failed, it at least slowed their fall, sparing the group of Spiritual Ability Users from a dreadful fate of being smashed to death.
