In the Crystal Stone Communicator, the command post's cold voice continuously sounded. In the dormitories of the Floating City, several modified goblins of varying builds ceased their actions.
"Is there finally a mission?" a burly goblin with tusks muttered.
They are the elite squad, also known as the modification squad. As the first batch of goblins subjected to advanced modification within the goblin army, they are undoubtedly crack troops. But in Richard's perspective, their battlefield is not on the frontline.
As a wizard who has fought multiple Plane Wars, Richard is keenly aware that on front-line battlefields, with high enemy density and firepower density, the individual strong advantages are far from being fully utilized.
The saying goes, two fists can't fight four hands, let alone against attacks that might come from all directions on a battlefield.
