A 43-meter-high, 650-ton "LVM3 launch rocket" blasted off into the sky with a fierce tail flame.
As the first country to launch a rocket, Tianzhu naturally caught the attention of the world.
The chairman of its space research organization, "Somat," spoke confidently in front of countless cameras,
"We worked tirelessly to successfully modify the Moonship to make it soft-land in the designated area."
The Moonship, originally intended for lunar exploration, had been forcibly converted into a manned landing craft.
It had a payload of only four tons, composed of the landing craft, three astronauts, and a very limited amount of supplies.
Although it was a patchy solution, it was still the first of its kind, making the citizens of Tianzhu immensely proud, who claimed online:
