Kiyono Lin was pulled near the kotatsu, before she hurried off to the restroom.
"Yo, we meet again," Dubian Che stuffed a slice of tangerine into his mouth.
Kiyono Lin looked down at him from an overlooking angle, "Why are you here?"
"If there hadn't been any accidents, we would have met in the café."
Kiyono Lin noticed the "Chasing Water Years" on the kotatsu table, remembered what Akiko had said, and probably understood what had happened.
"It seems you're quite unlucky."
"The feeling is mutual."
"Why are you still standing!" Akiko emerged from the restroom, "Sit down quickly!"
Kiyono Lin, hardly more in control than a mannequin, was once again forcefully crammed into the kotatsu.
"Akiko," she called out with a touch of dissatisfaction.
"Here, eat a tangerine." Akiko shoved a round, yellow-orange tangerine into her hand.
Kiyono Lin glanced at the tangerine and sighed softly, "Thank you."
She began peeling the tangerine with graceful movements.
