Inside the van sat two figures, none other than Gui Qi and Jiumei, who had just escaped from the factory!
"Brother Qi, you didn't take me out just for some fresh air, where are you actually taking me?"
Jiumei leaned on the passenger seat, turned her head, and asked Gui Qi who was driving with a grave expression.
"I'm taking you away from here, back to the Southern Border," said Gui Qi in a deep voice.
"What? Back to the Southern Border?"
Jiumei was shocked by his words and muttered after a moment, "The Southern Border is too far from here, why are you taking me back there?"
"I want to cure your illness and make you young again."
Gui Qi's voice was hoarse, his face serious.
