Chapter 105 - Worship System

Rose then looked at her as she spoke. "I still don't get how it works, Heatran is older then you Suicune, and is a Minior gods as well, but he cane transforma into human for you or speak our Langues".

Suicune as she explained. "Simple, legendary Pokemon are powerful, but we get 30% of our powers from our followers which allows us to grow faster, all Johto Worship Ho-Oh, 3 legendary dog's after all, Lugia calls this the worship system".

Rose blinked, trying to wrap her head around Suicune's explanation. "Wait, so you're saying that the power you have is connected to worshippers or followers, but that's what lets you grow and adapt, like you're being... nurtured by belief?"

Suicune nodded, her blue hair flowing softly as she sipped her tea. "Exactly. We rely on the belief and faith of others. The more they believe in us, the stronger we become. It's not just about power or physical strength—it's the connection we share with the world. Heatran is different though, even though he's a minor god, his power doesn't come from the same source. He's not as tied to the human world or dependent on it like we are. His strength comes from the primal forces of nature, and his form reflects that—unlike mine, which is heavily influenced by the relationship I share with those who follow me."

Haru, listening to the conversation, thought for a moment before speaking. "So, it's the difference between a connection forged through belief and trust, versus one that's built more on raw power and elemental forces?"

Suicune gave him a soft smile. "Exactly. That's why I can adapt and speak your language, while Heatran's current form can't. His power is more... elemental and ancient. His bond to humans is not as strong, and he's more tied to the earth itself."

Rose still looked a little confused, but she nodded, starting to understand the broad strokes of what Suicune was saying. "Okay, so it's not just about being strong—it's about how you're connected to everything around you, and who you're connected to. But... does that mean someone like Ho-Oh, or Mewtwo, would be able to speak to us too?"

Suicune's expression shifted into a thoughtful one. "Ho-Oh, yes. But Mewtwo is a special case. He's a created being, not a true legendary in the way you might think. He has power, yes, but his connection to the world is far more isolated. If anything, Mewtwo would probably understand us, but his relationship to humans is... complex."

Rose nodded slowly, still digesting everything. "I see... So the stronger your connection to humans and the world around you, the more you can communicate and transform."

"Exactly," Suicune confirmed. "It's all about the balance between power, influence, and connection. The more a legendary is revered, the more access they have to different abilities. But just because a legendary is powerful doesn't mean they can always communicate the same way. It takes time."

Haru, having heard enough for now, looked over at Heatran. "I think we've got a lot to work on, buddy. It's not just about power, but building that connection. We'll figure it out. You just need to trust us, and we'll help you get there."

Heatran, still in his fiery, molten form, gave a small rumble of agreement, his gaze locking with Haru's. Haru smiled, feeling the growing connection between them.

Erika, watching the exchange, gave a soft laugh. "Looks like you're already starting to get through to him, Haru."

Haru grinned. "It's just the beginning. We've got a lot ahead of us, but as long as we trust each other, I know we can handle whatever comes our way."

Suicune looked at him with a knowing glance. "The future may be uncertain, but with your bond to Heatran and your growing connection with the world around you, you'll be ready for anything."

Haru nodded, looking at his team. "Then let's keep moving forward. Together."

Meanwhile in Hoenn, as Fire was crackling as Raikou in her human form looked at Ash, Diamond, Brock, May and Max they had the same conversation with our knowing Haru group in Kanroa was having Ren conversation

Raikou looked as she spoke. "And that is how we work, got it".

She said as ligthing crackle's all over her.

Ash, Brock, May, and Max stood before Raikou, feeling the electricity in the air as the legendary Pokémon in human form spoke. They were all still processing the information she'd given them.

Max blinked, clearly fascinated. "So... basically, you're saying that your power comes from the belief of the people around you, and the stronger that connection is, the more you can do?"

Raikou gave a small nod, her golden eyes flashing with intensity. "Exactly. Unlike regular Pokémon, my power isn't just from training or battle. It's tied to the world around me—its energy, its belief in me, and how that belief fuels my strength." She raised her hand, and sparks of lightning danced around her fingers, illustrating her point. "I am more than just a force of nature; I am part of the world's flow, connected to its energy and the people who call upon me."

May, who had been listening intently, crossed her arms and nodded. "So, you're not just relying on physical strength. Your abilities are deeply connected to people, to faith, and to the world's belief in you?"

Raikou smiled slightly, clearly impressed by May's understanding. "Yes, that's the crux of it. While I have the power to summon storms and control lightning, it's the faith and belief of others that amplify that power. Without that connection, my strength would be far more limited."

Diamond, who had been quietly processing the conversation, raised her hand. "So, what you're saying is that the more people believe in you, the more you can interact with them? Like how Haru and Suicune can communicate with humans? Does that mean you can, like, transform too?"

Raikou's smile widened, her eyes glinting with mischief. "I can transform, yes. I've chosen to manifest in this form to communicate with you more easily. It's easier to understand each other when I'm in a form you can relate to." She snapped her fingers, and a bolt of lightning arced through the sky, making her point. "This form allows me to interact with you on a deeper level, without the fear that my presence might overwhelm you with raw power."

Brock nodded, still processing everything. "So, you're not just a protector of the land—you're also part of the balance between humans and nature, right? Your power depends on how much people respect and honor the natural world around them."

Raikou's expression softened. "Correct. Just like Suicune and Entei, my sister, we are all interconnected with the forces of nature. But we also serve a greater purpose: ensuring that balance is maintained. If people stop respecting the world around them, the world itself suffers—and so do we. Our power reflects that connection."

Max, who had been a bit overwhelmed by all the talk of legendaries, powers, and faith, tilted his head. "So... if people don't believe in you or care for the world, you could lose your power?"

Raikou's expression darkened for a moment. "Yes. That's the harsh reality. We rely on the energy and belief of the world. If that belief falters, so too does our ability to protect it. That's why we must continually maintain our connections with the people and places we protect."

Ash, always eager to understand things on a deeper level, stepped forward. "That's kind of like how I always try to connect with my Pokémon. It's not just about being strong—it's about trusting each other and working together, right?"

Raikou's eyes softened as she looked at him. "Exactly. Your bond with your Pokémon is a reflection of the energy and belief you both share. Your strength comes from that trust, and that trust is what helps you push forward, even in the hardest times."

Brock nodded thoughtfully. "That's what makes the bond between a Pokémon and Trainer so special. It's not just about the battles, but the connection that grows stronger over time."

Raikou raised an eyebrow, her form crackling with electric energy once again. "You understand more than you realize, Brock. Your bond with your Pokémon—and the respect you all show to nature—is what keeps the balance. Without it, the world would fall into chaos."

May smiled at her, clearly more comfortable with the concept now. "And that's why we all need to do our part. The world, the Pokémon, and people—we all have to stay connected to keep everything working."

Raikou gave a slight nod, her expression thoughtful. "Exactly. The future of the world depends on that connection. It's not just about individual strength; it's about the collective energy that sustains us all."

Ash clenched his fist in determination, his eyes bright. "I'll do my best to keep that connection strong, for my Pokémon, for everyone. I won't let anything break it!"

Raikou looked at him with a knowing smile. "I have no doubt you'll succeed, Ash. But remember, you're not alone in this. There are many others out there, like Haru and his team, who are fighting the same fight, ensuring the balance stays intact."

As the group stood there, feeling the weight of the conversation, they all understood that they were part of something much larger than themselves. They weren't just battling for victory in the Pokémon League—they were part of a much greater effort to maintain the balance of the world, ensuring that the connections between people, Pokémon, and nature were never severed.

Raikou looked at each of them, her golden eyes glimmering with a mixture of pride and responsibility. "Remember, the world you protect is more than just a place—it's a living, breathing entity. Treat it with respect, and it will empower you in ways you can't even imagine."

Diamond looked at her as she spoke. "So quick do you guys chose your Human form or is it just random".

Raikou looked at her as she spoke. "Yeah, we willijg chose what too loo like".

Diamond looked at her as she spoke. "So you chose too look like a blond punk girl and Lugia chooses to look like a Femboy".

Reikou looked at her as she spoke. "Hey all the legendary Dog's are girl's".

Raikou chuckled softly, her golden eyes sparkling with amusement as she addressed Diamond's comment. "Well, I guess we all have our own style, don't we?" She shrugged, a mischievous smile tugging at the corner of her lips. "As for Lugia, everyone has their preferences. And besides, not all of us go for traditional forms, you know? Sometimes, a change can be... interesting."

Diamond raised an eyebrow. "So, are you saying Lugia's choice to appear as a femboy is... deliberate?"

Raikou nodded, still smiling. "It's not random. Each of us, when we take human form, we choose how we wish to appear. Lugia might want to be more... fluid with his form. And, well, as for me, I like to keep things striking, a bit rebellious. Keeps things interesting."

May, who had been quietly listening, now laughed. "I never thought I'd be having this conversation with a legendary Pokémon."

Raikou winked, the lightning flickering lightly around her. "You'd be surprised what we legends get up to when we're not saving the world."

Max, still processing everything, asked, "So, do all legendary Pokémon pick their human forms, or is it just you three?"

Raikou thought for a moment before answering. "Not all of us choose. Some legendary Pokémon prefer their natural forms or don't feel the need to take on a human appearance. But for those of us who do, it's an intentional choice. We don't just take on a form to fit in, but to create a connection with those we interact with."

Diamond tilted her head thoughtfully. "So it's more like an expression of who you are? That's... kind of cool."

Raikou smiled at her, clearly enjoying the conversation. "Exactly. It's how we present ourselves to the world. Just as your human form is an expression of who you are, so is ours." She paused, looking each of them in the eye. "But remember, these forms are just a fraction of who we really are. Our true power lies in our essence, not in how we choose to look."

Ash nodded, his usual determination rising again. "I get it now. It's about understanding who you are, whether you're a Pokémon or a person."

Raikou's smile softened at his response. "You're learning quickly, Ash. That's the spirit. Never forget that, no matter what form you take, it's your heart and the strength of your bonds that matter most."

The group stood there, quietly absorbing the wisdom Raikou had shared. With every word, they felt more connected to the legendary Pokémon—and to the greater understanding of the world they were all a part of.

Raikou then stretch as she spoken. "Anyway that is enough of today, let's go to sleep we are close too the next city, and Ash Gym badg".

Ash looked at his badge case. "That would be my 3rd Badges in Hoenn".

Raikou gave a stretch, her golden hair shimmering in the moonlight as she let out a small sigh of contentment. "Exactly, Ash. It's been an eventful day, and you're about to get that third badge. Rest up, you'll need your energy for the battles ahead."

Ash grinned, looking at his badge case. "Yup! Three badges. I can't believe it. This journey's going by so fast."

May smiled as she adjusted her backpack, readying herself for the next day. "You've been doing great so far, Ash. Just one step closer to the Hoenn League."

Brock, who had been quietly inspecting his Pokémon, added, "But don't forget, the real challenge is just beginning. Every gym battle will test you in new ways."

Max, always eager to learn more about Pokémon, chimed in, "And don't forget, Ash—every badge means you're one step closer to meeting even stronger Trainers. That's the exciting part of the journey."

Raikou nodded, her eyes glowing faintly with lightning. "Exactly, young Trainer. But you also have to remember that the battles are only a part of the bigger picture. Stay focused, and always be mindful of the bonds you share with your Pokémon."

Ash nodded, his expression serious but full of determination. "I'll never forget that. I'm gonna keep getting stronger, for all my Pokémon and for the friends I've made along the way."

Diamond looked at Ash as she spoke. "Do you think you will be able too make to the Hoenn Champion League".

Max then spoke looking at Diamond as he spoke. "Even if he does beast the Elit Four, he still would need to fight the current Champion of rrh Hoenn league Brenden, and his Rayquaza".

Diamond then hold Max Shoulders as she spoke with barely holding anger. "You know Max maybe you shouldn't go speaking everything in your head".

As she was giving a face that was saying, "I have been trying too make sure to keep my boyfriend's confident intact for last few weeks", as for Max he just saw death it self in Diamond eye's.

Max gulped, his eyes widening slightly as he saw the intensity in Diamond's gaze. He quickly shifted his posture, trying to look less guilty. "I-I mean... it's just a fact. I didn't mean to upset anyone..." he stammered, adjusting his glasses nervously.

Ash, sensing the tension, chuckled and scratched the back of his head. "It's okay, Max. I know it's gonna be tough, but that's what makes the challenge exciting, right? Beating Brendan and his Rayquaza would be the ultimate test!" He gave Max a reassuring grin. "I've faced tough opponents before, and with my Pokémon by my side, I can handle it."

Diamond, who had been giving Max a fierce look, softened slightly at Ash's words. "I know you'll do your best, Ash," she said, her voice warm but still holding a hint of protective fierceness. "But Max does have a point. Brendan's Rayquaza is legendary for a reason, and you'll have to be prepared for anything."

Max, relieved to be let off the hook, nodded eagerly. "Exactly! And I know you've got this, Ash. But just... you know, don't get too cocky, okay?" he said, trying to offer some support without getting on Diamond's bad side again.

Ash laughed. "No promises, but I'll give it my all. That's what matters, right?"

Raikou, still lounging nearby, smirked. "Confidence is key, but don't forget, there's more to a battle than just power. The bond you share with your Pokémon will be the true strength you need."

Brock, who had been observing the conversation, added, "Raikou's right. Your bond with your Pokémon is what sets you apart from others. Focus on that, and the battle with Brendan will be just another step in your journey."

Diamond finally relaxed, giving Ash an encouraging smile. "You'll do fine, Ash. Just remember to keep your cool and trust in your team. You've got this."

Ash grinned, feeling more determined than ever. "Thanks, everyone. I'll show Brendan what I've got!"

The group shared a moment of camaraderie before settling down for the night, knowing that the next day would bring its own challenges. Ash was ready to face whatever lay ahead on his journey to the Hoenn Championship, with his friends by his side.

May then wishper too Brock. "So Diamond Always this over protective when it comes too ash".

Brock looked at the as he wishper back. "Will recently yes, after ash lost the match with Haru In trh Johto League Final, she will became Overprotective, even do Ash came out that Battle laughing.".

May nodded, a thoughtful expression crossing her face as she absorbed Brock's words. "I see... that must've been a tough battle for her to watch. Even if Ash wasn't upset, it makes sense she'd be a bit more protective after seeing him lose something so important."

Brock chuckled softly. "Yeah, it's kind of her way of making sure Ash doesn't push himself too hard. But the truth is, Ash is the kind of person who doesn't need coddling. He's learned a lot from that battle, and he's only gotten stronger since."

May smiled knowingly. "I've seen how Ash gets—no matter what happens, he's always smiling and ready to go. I guess that's what makes him, well, him."

Brock nodded in agreement. "Exactly. He has an incredible spirit, and it rubs off on everyone around him. But Diamond's protective side is just one of the ways she shows how much she cares. She wants to make sure Ash doesn't lose that drive or his confidence, especially when facing someone as tough as Brendan."

May grinned, looking over at Diamond, who was now casually chatting with Raikou about the next city. "Well, I can't blame her for wanting to make sure Ash is ready for anything. If he's going up against Brendan and his Rayquaza, he'll need all the support he can get."

Brock leaned back slightly, his voice lowering to a conspiratorial whisper. "Just make sure not to get on Diamond's bad side. She's got a way of making people think twice about their words."

May laughed softly. "Don't worry, I'll be careful. I think I've learned my lesson."

The two shared a quiet laugh, watching as Ash continued to talk to his Pokémon, full of excitement and determination. The journey ahead was bound to be full of challenges, but one thing was certain—no matter what happened, Ash had a team of friends who would be there for him every step of the way.
