Song Shize had just finished speaking when another lightning strike occurred.
Li Qingmo was so startled that he jumped up from the sofa, and despite being so far away, his eyes were tightly fixed on Song Shize. By the time the next rumble of thunder came, he had already clung onto Song Shize with both hands and feet.
Song Shize had a completely baffled expression: "..."

It took about two minutes before Song Shize snapped back to reality. Li Qingmo was still clinging onto him, refusing to let go, looking completely cowardly now, nowhere near the imposing school bully he usually was.
Without the thunder, Li Qingmo let go of Song Shize and collapsed back on the sofa, grabbing a cushion and covering his face with it, feeling like he could never show his face again.
Song Shize glanced at Li Qingmo then out the window before he starts to realize, "You're not scared of thunder, are you?"
Li Qingmo didn't respond, it's unclear if he even heard him.
