*Kenichi's POV*
Kenichi: "May I ask what is going on here? I'm pretty sure that Lord Issei told me that he contacted Commissioner Tachibana and told him that he was coming to discuss something of utmost importance with him."
Aiba: "And how do we know if that's true? For all I know, it's possible that you're a henchman of that society scum! It's even possible that this is a trap!"
The one who just shouted at me is called Aiba Migisuke. He is a man of about 27 years old, he has spiky black colored hair along with long bangs covering the right side of his face. His eyes are yellow in color, he also has a silver earring in his right ear and wears a red shirt.
Like Ryuu and Lord Issei, Aiba is a secondary character in Nisekoi who has no relevance to the main story. He is the captain of the first riot police squad and one of his most important duties is to guard and protect Tachibana Marika, one of the main heroines of the story.
Yes, I'm completely honest; he looked quite out of place being the only one dressed in normal clothes among all those armed policemen.
Kenichi: "Considering your history with the Shuuei Clan, I understand why you think that, but I can assure you that I have no relationship with them. I only went to talk to Mr. Issei about an important matter affecting this city, and it is for that very reason that I came to talk to Commissioner Tachibana."
Aiba: "As if I would believe the words of someone who hangs out with that group of criminals! Surely this is just a trap! We'll never let them hurt the boss and Ojou-sama! Guys, take aim!"
Completely ignoring my words, all the policemen pointed their guns at me upon hearing Aiba's order.
Kenichi: "..."
At that, all I did was stand still in my place with my hands in my pockets, while looking at everyone with indifference.
I think I now understand what Yuujirou felt when they pointed guns at him. Despite being faced with what would be certain death for anyone else, I don't feel the least bit threatened. Even if some of the bullets from these guns happened to hit me, I'm sure they wouldn't be able to penetrate my muscles.
I can't help but sigh at the ridiculousness of this situation. Seeing their expressions and feeling their emotions, I could tell that they were not going to let me through no matter what I told them.
Kenichi: "Listen, I'm not leaving here until I talk to him. I consider myself a law-abiding citizen, just like anyone else, but I'm not going to let them point their guns at me just on an assumption. So, if I have to force my way in... I'm going to do it."
The moment I said that, everyone became alert, but I simply ignored them and started walking, completely ignoring the guns that were just a few meters away from my body.
Aiba: "W-Wait... Don't you understand the situation, you're completely surrounded and we're all pointing guns at you!"
Hearing Aiba's words, I couldn't help but let out a slight laugh. They really believed that those simple toy guns were a threat to me.
Kenichi: "Hahaha~ That's right, I'm currently surrounded by 20 members of the riot police, in addition to the 5 snipers who have me in their sights from those buildings you can see in the distance, and not to mention the 100 other policemen standing guard on the different floors of the building. It really looks like a somewhat unfavorable situation for me."
I could clearly see how Aiba and his subordinates shuddered as they heard me accurately identify the location of the snipers and the number of policemen standing guard.
Kenichi: "But, even though the situation seems unfavorable to me, don't you think they are forgetting something very important?"
Aiba: "S-Something we are forgetting?"
I could feel my smile widen as I saw the nervousness in Aiba's expression.
Kenichi: "Where are your weapons?"
*Narrator's POV*
Silence...
The moment they heard Kenichi's question, all the policemen currently surrounding him froze in silence, not understanding the meaning of those simple words.
They didn't even understand why that simple question left them in that state, but the more they processed it in their minds, an intense shiver ran through their bodies violently.
In front of them stood Kenichi, a young man in his late teens, although his height and physical build made him look like an adult. Anyone who saw his face could tell that he was no more than 18 years old.
But, despite this fact, it was impossible for everyone present to see Kenichi as a mere teenager. His composure when surrounded by all those firearms was not normal; in this kind of situation, even the most experienced soldier would feel nervous, insecure, scared or even angry.
However, that was not the case for Kenichi. Despite being surrounded by 20 adults fully armed with assault rifles and 5 experienced snipers, he looked completely nonchalant and relaxed.
Aiba and the other policemen were still unaware, but at some point, cold sweat began to seep from every pore of their bodies.
When their minds were finally able to process Kenichi's question, they unconsciously looked down at their hands, only to realize that they weren't holding anything. Their arms were supposed to have been outstretched and their hands were supposed to have been firmly holding their rifles, but before they knew it, they were gone.
Aiba: "!"
Police: "!"
To an outsider's eye, this situation would look extremely ridiculous. All the policemen who were in this place were supposed to be among the best; they were a small elite force that had gone through years of rigorous training that pushed their bodies and minds to the limit.
But now, those same men stood in this place with lost expressions as they looked down at their hands, not understanding what happened to their weapons.
...
...
...
Silence stretched for several seconds, until everyone looked away from their hands at the sound of something breaking.
*Crack*
Whether consciously or unconsciously, everyone looked at Kenichi the moment they heard that sound, but in doing so, they witnessed an even more ridiculous fact. The twenty weapons that had disappeared for no reason whatsoever were stacked in his hands.
It was a completely abnormal sight; Kenichi was carrying twenty "Assault Rifle: Howa Type 20" without any difficulty as if they were simple disposable toys.
Aiba, being the leader of the riot squad and having the best combat capabilities among those present, was the first to react. But, although he was able to react, he could not find the words to question what was happening; in the end, he could only watch with his mouth open and his eyes bulging, while his body trembled.
As for Kenichi, he casually ignored the stunned looks he was receiving and, with his usual expressionless face, began to press the rifles tightly together.
*Clatter*
*KRRRRK*
*Clatter*
*KRRRRK*
*Clatter*
The sound of metal clashing with metal echoed throughout the street, sending shivers down the bodies of all the policemen who stood watching in shock and fear. Kenichi was bending and molding the metal of the rifles as if it were simple clay.
The metal constantly screamed in protest, throwing multiple sparks everywhere, but Kenichi remained indifferent as he continued to mold it.
Although no more than a minute had passed since Kenichi snatched the rifles from them and began playing with them, for those watching, that was the tensest and longest minute of their lives. The multiple veins bulging in Kenichi's muscular hands only served to further increase the nervousness of those watching.
When Kenichi finally finished, the 20 assault rifles were nowhere to be found. Under his strong, firm grip, they took on a spherical shape the size of a soccer ball, and most strikingly, despite being formed from various parts of different rifles, it had no irregularities or protrusions; it was a smooth, perfect, circular shape.
It was as if a hydraulic press had repeatedly beaten the metal until it was flattened and compacted, and then it was re-forged and assembled until it took that shape.
If that method had been used, no one would have found it strange, but the shocking thing about this situation is that, ignoring any kind of logic or common sense, a flesh-and-blood human performed this feat that should be impossible for any normal human, and he did it using his bare hands.
Police: "(⊙_⊙)"
Aiba: "(°□° ;)"
Kenichi: "(ㆆ_ㆆ)"
Kenichi kept looking at the metallic sphere he had just created with boredom, while continuing to completely ignore his surroundings. But, to everyone's surprise, he suddenly dropped it on the ground as if it was the most normal thing in the world, causing a loud sound to be created when it hit the ground.
*Thump*
If we take into account that a normal assault rifle should weigh around 3 kg, and Kenichi compacted 20 of them, then the weight of the metal sphere should be around 60 kg. Although it was not such an exaggerated weight, anyone with average physical condition should have a lot of difficulty lifting it, but Kenichi treated it as if it were a simple ping-pong ball.
By this point, no one knew how to react to his puzzling actions, but the surprise they were feeling was not over yet. After the sphere fell to the ground, Kenichi kicked it as normally as if it were a simple soccer ball, sending it flying in the direction of the building where the snipers were lined up.
*BOOOM*
The impact of the kick was so powerful that it was heard as the sound of an explosion, similar to that of a bazooka. The metallic sphere flew out, accompanied by a great gust of wind, and soared with great speed to the height of the 20 floors building.
*Crack*
Snipers: "(•_•)?"
Unlike the other policemen, the snipers didn't even have time to process what happened. Before they knew it, the metallic sphere passed with great momentum in front of their faces, completely shattering the barrel of their rifles and rendering them completely useless.
Most surprising of all, the metallic sphere did not follow a straight line; just before hitting the rifles, it curved in the air. From a soccer point of view, it was a perfect curve shot that managed to accurately hit the barrels of all 5 rifles at the same time.
...
...
...
By this point, anyone could tell that Kenichi was no ordinary person, but still, seeing his abnormal strength made no one know what to say or how to react.
Kenichi: "You weren't wrong in thinking that I'm someone dangerous... But you were wrong about two very important things."
Kenichi's sudden words took everyone by surprise, especially Aiba, who was currently shaking while her whole body was sweating in an exaggerated manner.
Aiba: "I-I was wrong about two things?"
Kenichi: "Yes... For starters, I'm not part of the Shuuei Clan. As you just saw, with my strength I can easily get in and out of this building without anyone being able to stop me. If the Shuuei Clan had someone like me as a subordinate, they would have taken over the city long ago."
His words were utter madness, but no one dared to refute them. He took the weapons from under their noses without their noticing and turned them into a perfect circular figure. That fact alone made it impossible for them to contradict his words.
Kenichi: "And the second thing you were wrong about was their armaments."
Aiba: "I-In our armaments."
Kenichi: "That's right, if they wanted to stop me with military power, then simple police armaments are not enough... They lacked battle tanks, they lacked combat aircraft, they lacked naval fleets, they lacked bombs, they lacked bazookas, they lacked machine guns, they lacked all the Japan Self-Defense Forces (JSDF)."
The more he spoke, the harder it became for everyone to breathe; they could feel Kenichi's presence becoming more and more intimidating. And maybe it was everyone's imagination, but for a moment it seemed to them that someone else's appearance was being superimposed on Kenichi's.
Everyone wanted to close their eyes and run away from reality the moment they saw that person's appearance.
Although they only saw it for an instant, fear had already been implanted deep in their souls.
It was the appearance of a giant of more than 2 m who looked at them all with mockery and contempt. He had a scary appearance; his red-colored hair swayed violently, his eyes seemed to glow like those of a beast that was ready to bite its prey, his muscles seemed to be made of the most solid of metals and his predatory smile was chilling.
For a moment, everyone vividly glimpsed Yuujirou Hanma's appearance, which projected slightly through Kenichi's intimidation.
Kenichi: "If they want to stop me, they need the full military might of Japan! That's the least they must have to be worthy adversaries! In front of me, any kind of firearm is useless! If I wanted to, I could enter the Kantei or even even the U.S. White House and no one would be able to stop me!"
(A/N: Kantei is the official residence of the Prime Minister of Japan).
Anyone who heard Kenichi's words would say that he is a lunatic who says nothing but bullshit, but those who heard and saw him didn't think for a second that he was bluffing. His serious look and intimidating presence told everyone that his words were simply fact.
Kenichi: "You understand now, I don't need to cheat or prepare machinations. Although it doesn't seem like it, a while ago when I asked you to let me pass, and even now, I'm being incredibly reasonable. If I wanted to, I could simply force my way through or even enter undetected, and you would not be able to do anything."
Kenichi's harsh words made all the policemen present feel a sense of helplessness and frustration; they couldn't even find the words to contradict his statement. The intimidating presence that Kenichi was releasing was enough for everyone to understand that his statement was true.
The one who felt the most frustrated was Aiba. He had great respect for Commissioner Tachibana; that's why he was proud to be the one in charge of his security. But the moment he saw Kenichi's strength and felt his presence, even the tiniest cell in his body implored him to run away without any shame.
"In front of a monster like him we don't stand a chance"
That was what they all thought, but despite knowing this and despite the fact that their bodies wouldn't stop shaking with fear, they still stood firm and looked at Kenichi with determined eyes, a clear sign that they knew they couldn't stop him; however, they weren't going to give up.
But just before they could say or do anything, the ringtone of a cell phone interrupted the tense atmosphere.
*Ring~ Ring~*
Although Aiba was still visibly nervous, he immediately took out his cell phone from his pants and answered the call that was addressed to him.
Aiba: "E-Eh... But boss... This guy is dangerous... I-It's true that I don't think we'll be able to stop him... But... I-It's okay."
The conversation only lasted a few seconds, but from Aiba's conflicted expression, it was easy to assume that Commissioner Tachibana had ordered him to let Kenichi pass.
Aiba: "It's okay... The boss just gave you permission to come in... I'm sorry for the confusion we had thinking you were a member of the Shuuei Clan."
Hearing Aiba's words, all the policemen felt relieved. Although they were prepared to give their lives protecting Commissioner Tachibana, that didn't mean they didn't feel nervous.
Kenichi: "Don't worry, although I'm not pleased that they pointed their rifles at me, considering the relationship they have with the Shuuei Clan, I understand the reason for their hesitation. Besides, they weren't entirely wrong; it's a fact that, if I wanted to, I could be more dangerous than them."
They were all surprised again after hearing Kenichi's words, but this time it was for a completely different reason. They never expected to receive sympathetic words from someone with such an absurd strength as his.
*Kenichi's POV*
Kenichi: (They're good cops, compared to the ones in Baki's world, who just stared, trembling and peeing themselves with fear after seeing Yuujirou. I can tell that these guys were going to try to stop me even knowing that they would get seriously injured).
I can't help but look at them with some respect. I don't know if the level of my intimidation is on the same level as Yuujirou's, but I'm completely sure that it's intense enough that no normal human would be able to resist it.
In Baki's world, both policemen and military men and even presidents of different countries would pee their pants in fear just by seeing Yuujirou's appearance. That's why it's kind of surprising to see so many people who are willing to fight against me even after feeling that.
Kenichi: (I guess I shouldn't be so surprised. This world follows a completely different logic than Baki's world. Also, there are a myriad of beings here that are much stronger than Yuujirou. It's possible that, thanks to their influence, humans in this world are more mentally tougher).
Knowing this made me feel quite relieved. Thanks to the Shuuei Clan and the police, I will no longer have to worry about involving normal people. Now I will be able to contact them to keep people away from certain areas that might be dangerous.
After that, all the policemen bowed their heads slightly and left, leaving me alone with Aiba. Although he still looked somewhat nervous, he did his best to calm down and offered to accompany me the rest of the way.
Commissioner Tachibana lived on the top floor of the building. Moreover, the only access to enter his room was through the elevator; that is why Aiba, being one of the few who had direct access, accompanied me.
Along the way, I spoke briefly with him and I have to admit that he reminded me a bit of Raku. Although not much, they have somewhat similar personalities.
When we reached the top floor of the building, the elevator door opened, revealing a rather elegant looking hallway that stretched for a few meters and at the far end a door could be seen.
Aiba: "I'm going to get here. The door is already open, just go inside; the boss is waiting for you in the main hall."
Kenichi: "Okay, thank you."
I said goodbye to Aiba and started walking down the hallway while looking outside through the windows. It was already dark outside; by this point, Oga should have already been taken to some hospital and the Shuuei Clan should already be investigating everything related to the councilman. The only thing missing now was the cooperation of the police.
Kenichi: (But that's not a problem; if Commissioner Tachibana is as I remember him, he's not going to stand idly by after I tell him everything).
After thinking that, I opened the door and walked in normally. But the moment I did, I was surprised to see a huge room that was several times bigger than my own house. Just by looking at it a little, it was easy to assume that the entire top floor of the building was owned by Commissioner Tachibana.
Although the interior was not as beautiful or as imposing as Raku's house, I have to admit that it looked quite nice. As I looked around the place curiously, I could see the appearance of an old man who was sitting quietly on a sofa while looking at me with a smile.
Tachibana: "I see, so you're the guy Ichijou told me about."
I didn't even need to ask for his name; the old man sitting nonchalantly in front of me was Tachibana Gen, the Sainan Police Commissioner. Like Mr. Ichijou, he also looked like someone of a somewhat advanced age. His hair was gray in color, except for some parts where he had black locks. His eyes were black and he was wearing a dark blue suit and a striped shirt with a blue tie.
Kenichi: (Although he spoke to me in a friendly manner, his expression makes him look quite intimidating, and even more so with that scar on his left eye. I have to agree with Raku's opinion when he first saw him in the original story; this gentleman looks a lot more Yakuza than the actual Yakuza).
Kenichi: "Sorry to bother you, my name is Saruyama Kenichi."
Tachibana: "I see... Then you are Kenichi. As you may already know, I am Tachibana Gen, the Sainan Police Commissioner. I remember we met a long time ago when you were little; you've grown up quite a bit."
Kenichi: "Yes, I remember. Thank you for the help you gave me back then."
Tachibana: "Hahaha~ Don't worry about that; besides, I owed your father a favor, so you have no need to thank me."
Years ago, when my parents passed away, Mr. Tachibana made sure to get all the documents in my house in order and also made all the arrangements for my custody to pass to my grandparents without any inconvenience. For that, I feel indebted to him.
Kenichi: (I owed my father a favor? That's the first time I've heard about that).
The truth is that I don't know much about Commissioner Tachibana; like Mr. Issei, he was a supporting character who barely appeared in some parts of the manga, but I understand that his past is quite depressing, especially considering his marital relationship and his daughter's life.
Kenichi: (Come to think of it, it's possible that the favor he owes my father has something to do with Marika's illness. I remember seeing him talking to him when we went on vacation to the "Tenku Plateau").
Marika was born with an underlying illness inherited from her mother; because of that illness, she spent most of her childhood bedridden while living in solitude. At one point, she lived together with Commissioner Tachibana on the Tenku Plateau due to the cleanliness in the surrounding air. It was at that time that Raku and I met her.
I wonder if Marika remembers me. In Nisekoi's story, she is one of the few characters who remembered what happened in that place years ago.
Tachibana: "I'm sorry for the way you were received by my subordinates, but it was something necessary."
Kenichi: "Something necessary?"
Tachibana: "Yes... Ichijou didn't tell me about the reason for your visit, but he did tell me that you are going to continue the Saruyama legacy. Is that true?"
Kenichi: "That's right. In fact, the reason I am here is because of a situation that is related to the supernatural world."
Tachibana: "I thought so... The truth is, unlike the Shuuei Clan, only a few of my subordinates are aware of the supernatural world. None of the new members know anything; although they are very well trained, they are not prepared to deal with beings who treat firearms as if they were mere toys."
Kenichi: "So you wanted me to intimidate them with my presence to get them used to dealing with situations where they encounter supernatural phenomena."
Tachibana: "Yes, in the past I had an unfortunate encounter with a Youkai, so I know from my own experience that our weapons are useless against them. That's why I wanted to prepare you mentally for that kind of situation."
Kenichi: "I see, so that's why they reacted that way when they saw me."
Tachibana: "But anyway, that was impressive. Even though I liked fights in my youth, I would never have dared to approach armed people like that, and the way you destroyed them was even more amazing. How you can tell you're his son."
After saying that, Commissioner Tachibana's intimidating expression softened quite a bit.
Kenichi: "Thank you, and I'm also sorry for the inconvenience. I'm aware that you and Mr. Issei don't have the best of relationships, but I asked him to contact you anyway. I heard that he was the one who gave you that scar on your face, right?"
Tachibana: "Hahahaha~ You're quite an interesting young man. Nowadays I don't think there are many young people who are interested in old stories like that. Although I won't deny that my biggest dream is to see that guy behind bars, sometimes we get together for a drink and chat for old times sake. From what you told me on the call, what you have to tell me is something pretty important."
Kenichi: "That's right... This is a matter that is related to the whole city and is also, in part, related to you."
Tachibana: "With me?"
I explained the situation to him for several minutes, showed him all the evidence I could find in the councilman's house and also explained how they made a contract with Diodora to hypnotize all the people in the city.
When I finally finished speaking, I could tell that Commissioner Tachibana's atmosphere had become as intimidating as Mr. Issei's, and the expression in his eyes, which was already gloomy before, was now the vivid representation of anger.
Kenichi: (If Raku were here, I'm sure he would have already peed himself with fear upon seeing the expression Commissioner Tachibana has right now).
Tachibana: "So... are you telling me that these guys have been doing this stuff for several years? On top of that, that fucking brat was planning to do the same thing to Mari as he did to the other girls in these videos... That's what you're telling me, right?"
Kenichi: "Yes."
The moment Commissioner Tachibana finished processing my words, he immediately grabbed his cell phone and called Aiba through his cell phone. The moment the call was received, the commissioner's fury exploded.
Tachibana: "MIGISUKE!!! GATHER ALL POLICE FORCES RIGHT NOW!!! I WANT EVERYONE TO START INVESTIGATING CONCERN MASARU IMMEDIATELY!!!"
Aiba: "YES, CHIEF!!!"
It seems that Mr. Ichijou and he have quite a bit in common. After that, Mr. Tachibana was giving various orders for several minutes, while his face looked like that of a demon; even his eyes started to glow with an intimidating red light.
Tachibana: "I thank you for this information, Saruyama-kun. Some other time, I'm going to visit you personally to thank you."
Although he spoke to me in a calmer voice, it was easy to notice the anger in her expression.
Kenichi: "Don't worry, I understand your feelings well. Although my parents are already dead, I still have some relatives who lead normal lives. I would react the same way if I knew someone wanted to do this to them. Besides, it's part of my job to take care of anything that has to do with supernatural beings."
After listening to me, Commissioner Tachibana smiled slightly.
Tachibana: "Heh~ You really look like your father."
With those last words, I said goodbye to Commissioner Tachibana and went straight home. It was already kind of late and I still had to prepare dinner for Kirara.
Kenichi: (With all this done, now I just need to finish dealing with Oga. After that, I'm finally going to call a halt to all this crap)
*Tachibana Gen's POV*
So that was Saruyama Kenichi, the other boy who used to play with Mari when she was little. I have to admit that I was quite surprised to see how he took on a whole fully armed group without any hesitation whatsoever.
Tachibana: (For a moment, it reminded me of my youth. Back then, both Ichijou and I were quite young and reckless; we used to do this kind of thing too)
Although I suppose comparing us to him is stupid. For him, firearms pose no threat; besides, his composure is completely different from that of other teenagers and adults.
The way he handled this whole matter proves it; with his capabilities, it should be easy for him to solve the whole problem without us having to get involved. However, anyway, he actively sought our cooperation and didn't show even a bit of the usual arrogance that people with power have.
Tachibana: (He looks a lot like his father)
I couldn't help but remember the old days. The debt I owe to the Saruyama family is not something I can finish repaying in this lifetime.
That time, in my youth, when I first witnessed the terrors of the supernatural world, the one who saved my life was none other than Saruyama Kenji (Kenichi's grandfather). Several years later, his son Saruyama Gen sought medicine in the supernatural world to cure Mari's illness, and now my daughter's safety has just been protected by his son Kenichi.
Tachibana: (Maybe I was wrong back then to commit Mari to Ichijo's son)
That's my thought after seeing how Kenichi has grown up. But in the end, the decision is Mari's. Back then, she said that she wanted to get engaged to Ichijou's son, but I could also tell that she cherished Kenichi very much. As his father, all I can do is to support her silently.
Tachibana: (Get ready, you brats. If any of you dare to make her cry, I'll make sure to make your lives a living hell myself)
*Narrator's POV*
The quiet streets of Sainan were suddenly interrupted by the loud sound of a black car moving at high speed. From the way it was moving, it was clear that its speed was in excess of 200 km/h.
*beep-beep*
The sound of other cars' horns echoed through the streets, but the black car ignored them and kept moving without slowing down; it didn't even care about stop signs or red lights, it just kept moving violently through the streets.
Inside the car the figures of two people could be seen: one was the driver, a stocky man wearing a suit similar to that of a bodyguard, and the other was a bald man with a stocky build wearing a dark business suit with a white shirt.
Gonta: "Shit! Shit! Shit! Shit! Shit! SHIT! I knew something was wrong when my worthless son mentioned the Shuuei Clan! Those damn sons of bitches are ruining all my damn business! Why now! I was so close!"
This middle-aged man's name is Masaru Gonta; he is a councilman who has run for city mayor numerous times. But what people didn't know is that he is one of Japan's biggest distributors of drugs and weapons, as well as having a monopoly over brothels in several cities.
The major source of his income is the sale of women of different ages to the richest and most powerful men in different countries. According to Gonta's own words, the demand for Asian women is quite high in foreign countries.
All this was possible thanks to the contract he made with Diodora Astaroth.
Although the Devils have rules that prohibit them from getting involved in the politics of the human world, the moment Gonta offered him religious women in exchange for his help, Diodora did not hesitate for a second to lend him her powers so that he could go unnoticed in one of the safest cities in Japan.
This is how Gonta was able to form a small empire that gained power and influence every day.
But all that empire went down the drain after a single phone call.
One of his subordinates suddenly called him while he was having sex with the daughter of one of his employees. According to the subordinate's screams of pain, apparently, somehow, the Shuuei Clan broke free from the control of Diodora's hypnosis magic and started attacking all the places he was involved with.
The moment he heard that, Gonta's erect penis instantly went flaccid and he rushed back home to summon Diodora again.
Gonta: "Shit! Hurry up, you good-for-nothing! Don't you get it yet! If I go down, you're all going down with me!"
Driver: "Y-Yes! I-I'm sorry!"
As Councilman Gonta shouted furiously trying to calm his nerves, he didn't notice the car coming toward him at high speed.
By the time he realized it, it was too late...
*Crash*
The councilman's black car was suddenly struck on the right side by a large car that appeared to be armored. The councilman's car did not withstand the impact and was thrown out of the car as it violently rolled down the street; the impact was so great that it was completely destroyed.
Fortunately, they were in a sparsely populated area and there were no people around, so there were no injuries other than the councilman and his driver.
Gonta: "Ugh... Ahh... Agh..."
Councilman Gonta could only groan pathetically as he lay sprawled in a pool of his own blood. The driver carrying him had his head completely smashed in, making the scene look incredibly grotesque.
Gonta's vision was blurry, but he could definitely feel someone pulling him by one of his legs as they dragged his body across the ground without any mercy.
This would be the last time Councilman Masaru Gonta would be seen.
Only he knew if he was fortunate not to have died a quick and painless death in the accident, or if he was unfortunate to have survived to experience what would be one of the most painful situations of his life.
===============
A/N: Sorry for the delay; there was a problem with the chapter and I had to rewrite it. The next chapter is the last part of this mini arc. I admit that I made it longer than I should have, but the story is going to be long, so I don't see much of a problem with it.
After this, the battle with the Galala Gator from the previous story is going to happen and then I'll be getting into the To Love-Ru arc. Look forward to it!
