After six solid hours of investigation and following the breadcrumbs left by the kidnappers, it became glaring to Matt that the people responsible for his family assault and his daughter's kidnap were no other than his business partner and ally–The Don.
The last call he received from the kidnappers was traced to the Wild Foxes and they made it abundantly clear that his precious daughter would be the star entertainer for the night.
Knowing the fate of the young girls working as strippers at the Wild Foxes, Matt almost went insane with fear at the end of that call. And to make matters worse, he tried to reach out to the Don, but the bastard denied knowing anything about the attack or kidnap.
The Don also went as far as threatening him to stay away from the club and keep to a low profile for one month as earlier discussed, or suffer his wrath.
To Matt, this was a clear indication that he was responsible for the attack.
