After six long months and a few days of incarceration, alongside limited communication, strip searches, mandatory routines and, worst of all, poor meals, Desmond was beyond thrilled to be called a free man.
Compared to the slightly chubby and confident man who was arrested more than six months ago, he seemed to have lost a lot of pounds. He appeared gaunt, with a noticeable lack of vitality. He also exhibited a guarded demeanour, reflecting the trauma of his incarceration.
Matt, on the other hand, was the complete opposite of his younger brother.
Aside from a few bruises on his face, which were inflicted on him for bad mouthing the prison chief warden before his release, Matt was looking way healthier, physically sound and emotionally stable than Desmond.
Hardened to the core, Matt reflected an icy, lethal and defiant aura, potent enough to scare the hell out of anyone.
