The Terrain Treading Lion, better known as the Malice Lion, had once again evolved into a greater beast than it was before.
With just a fraction of his current ability, he could now defeat his past self. His transformation represented something that the majority of beasts and their human partners hoped to attain by the time they reached Tier 3—becoming a Shifter.
But there was something unique about Miracle Lions. They were lazy, true, but they were also top-tier beasts when it came to potential and talent.
In Ar Land, only the Garuda, Swan, and Ouroboros Serpent could match them in this regard.
So the Miracle Lion bonded to Eugene would never be satisfied with past achievements. Instead, he would learn from them and continue to improve.
Eugene didn't mind this drive—he had no qualms about it. As a human, his goal was to support the lion's path. That was what all Miracle Lion humans did, though even with their support, they barely helped their lions reach their true potential.
