Naruto World, Moon.
When Shin appeared on the moon, his expression shifted dramatically as he caught sight of an Otsutsuki clan member sitting in a fisherman's outfit, calmly casting his line.
The Otsutsuki had pale skin, long blue-white hair tied into a high ponytail, no eyebrows, two dots on his forehead, protective horns on his head, and a red fishing rod in his hand. Beside him sat a bright red fish basket.
"This guy is an Otsutsuki from beyond the stars?" Shin murmured in surprise, narrowing his eyes at the scene.
"Master, it's me, the Red Queen!" the Otsutsuki figure said unexpectedly.
Shin's mouth fell open in shock.
A short while later, Shin held a peculiar tortoise-shaped object. "Is this the treasure that this Otsutsuki—Urashiki—uses to travel between parallel worlds? A turtle?"
"Yes," the Otsutsuki-turned-Red Queen responded. "According to my analysis, if enough chakra is poured into it and sufficient time energy is absorbed, this turtle-shaped artifact allows travel to a specific parallel world."
[T/N: In the Naruto Wiki, Karasuki is defined as a 'turtle that has the power to transfer people through time'. The mechanics of this is not clear and is a subject of debate.
In this novel, instead of traveling to the past, the person travels to a "past" in a parallel world. This approach seems much safer, as his actions in this alternate past won't affect the future of his own world.]
Shin examined the object before setting it down. "I assume there are restrictions on its usage?"
"Indeed. Karasuki can only locate a single parallel world and allows for one round trip before requiring a long period to recharge by absorbing time energy."
Hearing this, Shin's interest waned considerably, and he stored the device in his dark dimension. He then turned his attention back to the Red Queen. "This is surprising. Even during the events of Naruto Shippuden, I never expected an Otsutsuki to just appear like this."
Urashiki had traveled across parallel dimensions searching for tailed beast power. Unfortunately for him, this was no longer the world he had anticipated. Not only had the era changed, but the rise of countless powerhouses and the existence of the Red Queen, who now ruled over the virtual space, ensured that the Otsutsuki's invasion was doomed from the start.
The moment he appeared, he was detected, captured by the Red Queen, and instantly sealed within the Book World—where he was trapped in an inescapable prison.
In the Book World, even with all of Shin's enhancements from the One Piece World, he wouldn't be able to defeat the Red Queen. A mere Otsutsuki stood no chance.
Urashiki's physical demise was of little consequence. The Red Queen extracted every ounce of use from him. First, she crushed his soul completely, then implanted a biochip in his brain, effectively turning him into her remote-controlled puppet.
"What a generous guest—traveling all this way just to deliver us gifts," Shin chuckled, reaching out to retrieve Urashiki's fishing rod and basket.
At that moment, the Red Queen spoke. "Urashiki's fishing rod and basket are incredibly rare chakra artifacts."
"The fishing rod allows for the direct extraction of an opponent's chakra, while the fish basket converts that chakra into stable chakra pills."
"Even beings as powerful as the Nine-Tails wouldn't stand a chance—if caught by this rod, their chakra would be completely drained!"
"Now this is a real treasure." Shin twirled the fishing rod in his hand, intrigued. Given that the chakra of the Nine-Tails marked the threshold between super-Kage and god-tier beings, the ability of this weapon was undeniably overpowered. A single strike could prove fatal to most.
However, the greatest prize wasn't the artifacts—it was Urashiki himself.
Kaguya Otsutsuki had been sealed away on the moon. The Sage of Six Paths and his brother had never created pure Otsutsuki bodies, leaving Shin's bloodline close to the Otsutsuki but still not quite at their level.
Now, with a living Otsutsuki to study, purifying his bloodline would be much simpler.
"Aside from Urashiki," the Red Queen continued, "others arrived in this world with him. However, since I confiscated Karasuki, they remain stranded in Konoha."
Shin raised an eyebrow and rubbed his chin. "Ah, so they arrived at the worst possible time. That's basically a dimensional ambush—like a fledgling warrior storming the Demon King's castle straight out of the tutorial."
"Without the strength to fight Urashiki, Naruto would have been wiped out immediately."
The protagonist's halo wasn't all-powerful—it still had to obey some basic logic. Just like how Luffy, fresh out of the East Blue, would have stood no chance against Kaido. No matter how many power-ups he did, he'd still have been flattened like a rubber pancake.
Naruto, fresh from the Academy, would have no hope against an Otsutsuki—even if he bonded with Kurama on the spot and entered his Nine-Tails Chakra Mode.
"Who was sent to stop Urashiki?" Shin asked.
Because his journey had begun in the Naruto World, Shin remembered its timeline most vividly. It was a matter of survival—he had reviewed it religiously every day in the beginning.
However, as for a certain Boruto spin-off… He had barely skimmed it.
"Uchiha Sasuke and Naruto Uzumaki's son, Boruto Uzumaki," the Red Queen replied. "They've been causing quite the stir in Konoha. If not for DNA tests proving they were truly Sasuke and Naruto's descendants, they might have already been locked up for espionage."
"Oh?" A smirk spread across Shin's face. "Then I should go take a look."
Konoha, Hidden Leaf Village.
"They said they're from a parallel world! So why are you still so mad, Hinata?"
Naruto Uzumaki, radiating golden light, leaped around, creating shadow clones in an effort to dodge incoming strikes.
Hinata Hyuga, her Byakugan glowing faintly, unleashed a burst of chakra-infused strikes with fluid grace.
Since the opening of the Virtual Space, the power of every ninja had skyrocketed—especially the twelve young prodigies who once stood at the heart of Konoha's new generation.
Among them, the fastest to grow were Naruto Uzumaki and Hinata Hyuga.
Naruto had a deep lineage, with both of his parents as teachers in the Virtual Space, plus the immense advantage of Kurama's power.
As for Hinata? She had Shin to thank for that.
With a slight "adjustment" to the Virtual Space, her growth had been accelerated exponentially. Even if she didn't try to get stronger, she had no choice but to improve.
