Wei Tianyang's four pupils flickered with red light, capturing all spectrums of light; invisibility was no match for him.
The surrounding mountains transformed into gray in his sight, and the sky turned into pitch black. A twisted colossus in bright blue lay sprawled in distant mountain canyons.
"Slow! Slow! Slow! Communicate!"
Continuous voices echoed in his mind.
"Wait a moment! The horned one!" Baphomet also transmitted its voice.
Wei Tianyang turned around, allowing his vision to return to normal. At that moment, he saw the diminutive Baphomet continuously hopping on a mountain top's clearing, trying to catch his attention.
Beside Baphomet, a segmented worm with half its body destroyed clung to the cliffside. Its body was slowly regenerating, thin membranes wrapping around bits of flesh and tissue, inexplicably growing out of nothing.
