Chapter98
"Can you guys stop!"
Benjamin groaned from the backseat, wedged between a very drunk Daelan and Emmaline. He attempted to pry her off her fiancé, but she was clinging like a beautiful, lovesick limpet—giggling breathlessly, kissing Daelan's neck, and whispering utterly inappropriate things into his ear.
"Goddess," Daelan slurred, "you smell like ice and sin."
A beat later, Emmaline turned her head and winked at Benjamin. Then she dove right back to nibbling on Daelan's ear, lips trailing slow, drunken kisses along his jaw.
Benjamin groaned again and dropped his face into his hands.
"You said you were going to behave until we got home!" he snapped, throwing Daelan a glare that was entirely wasted on the man currently trying to get his fiancée to sit in his lap.
Daelan, for his part, looked absolutely delighted. His tie was gone, his shirt half unbuttoned, and his hands were resting securely on Emmaline's hips like they belonged there.
