"Young Master Lu actually made so much braised pork?"
Mrs. Wei looked at the bright red, glossy pieces of meat with some surprise.
"Madam, did you say this is braised pork?" Wei Xinghe asked, "How come it doesn't quite look the same as the one made in our house?"
"The dishes made by Young Master Lu are always quite different from others', our house's cooks can never achieve such a shiny, reddish color for the meat."
Mrs. Wei said with some regret.
Two or three years ago, she was rescued by Lu Qing from the mountains, and after coming to Jiuli Village, the first meal she ate included braised pork.
She had never forgotten that taste.
Later she also asked Lu Qing for the recipe but somehow, the cooks in the house could never make the meat look as good as Lu Qing's, and even the taste was somewhat inferior.
