"Standing around for what? Sit down," Mu Rufeng walked to the long table and spread out the tablecloth full of delicacies.
All the Contractors obediently sat down at the long table.
Aside from Mu Rufeng's main seat, there were twenty-five seats left, exactly one for each Contractor.
"Order whatever you want to eat. Once you're done, the second round of the death game will begin," Mu Rufeng said before turning and leaving the room.
The windows on the second floor were boarded up, obscuring any view outside.
So Mu Rufeng went back down to the first floor.
The fireplace was still burning, but now it had calmed down.
The burning rate had returned to normal.
Mu Rufeng walked to the front door and opened it.
Outside, fierce snow was still howling.
However, it was now daylight, and the sky was somewhat bright, not the pitch-black environment of last night, allowing one to see further.
The courtyard was covered in snow, with no signs of any cracks.
