Chapter 317 - The Ginyu Force, Annihilated

Time resumed its flow.

As Guldo deactivated the time-stop, Burter, Recoome, and Jeice's escape attempts returned to normal. The three of them were fast, covering a great distance in an instant.

But in Zuke's eyes, their speed was still insufficient.

"Dammit, Guldo's already gone. He must have used his time-stop to escape."

Jeice noticed that Guldo, who had been close behind him moments ago, had disappeared. He immediately guessed that Guldo had used his time-stop ability to flee.

However, before he could envy Guldo's ability, a tremendous force pressed down on his back.

Someone had appeared behind him and was pinning him to the ground with absolute power!

Jeice instantly realized he had been caught—he tried to resist, but it felt like an ordinary person trying to stop an elephant's stomp. No matter how hard he struggled, he couldn't change the outcome.

The next moment, Jeice plummeted from the sky, crashing hard onto the ground, his face twisted in pain.

Gritting his teeth, he turned his head to look at Zuke, who was kneeling on his back, and noticed something that filled him with panic.

In Zuke's hand was Guldo, who was now unconscious!

Even after using time-stop, Guldo hadn't been able to escape Zuke's grasp? In fact, he had been the first one caught!?

Jeice had no idea how Zuke had done it, but this sight undoubtedly shook him to his core.

Guldo, with a combat power of just over 10,000, had earned his place in the Ginyu Force because his psychic abilities compensated for his weaknesses.

Yet, even with that, he hadn't been able to escape Zuke? Jeice couldn't understand how Zuke had pulled it off.

What terrified him even more was that, shortly after, Recoome and Burter were also brought back—but not by Zuke's own hands.

In Jeice's view, Recoome and Burter looked as if they were already dead, their bodies stiff and withered, floating back as if carried by an invisible force.

That's right—Jeice couldn't see the Stand. In reality, Recoome and Burter were being carried back by "Black Bird Requiem."

But to Jeice, it looked as if the two were floating through the air, an eerie and unsettling sight.

"I've already drained their life energy."

Zuke glanced at Recoome and Burter, who had been tossed to the ground by Black Bird Requiem, and nodded.

Through Black Bird Requiem, Zuke had absorbed the life energy of Recoome and Burter. These two were essentially already dead, with the last remnants of their life energy set to dissipate in a few minutes.

He looked down at Jeice, who was filled with terror, and said:

"Now, only you and Guldo are still alive... If you want to live a little longer, you'd better answer my questions honestly."

The reason Zuke had spared Jeice and not immediately drained his life energy was to interrogate him.

He had some questions he needed answered.

Of course, the Turtle School had a technique for reading minds using "ki," but it could only be used on someone with a calm mind. Jeice, in his current state of panic, was clearly not a suitable target.

However, precisely because Jeice was so terrified and mentally scrambled, it was unlikely he could come up with a convincing lie. He would have no choice but to tell the truth.

"I... I understand."

Jeice swallowed hard, looking up at Zuke, who was standing on his back, and nodded frantically, not daring to refuse.

"How did you know my location? Logically, my scouter should have been modified, making it impossible for the Frieza Force to track it."

Zuke tossed Guldo to Black Bird Requiem, which immediately began devouring him.

As Zuke questioned Jeice, Guldo, now being consumed by Black Bird Requiem, woke up and let out a blood-curdling scream.

Thus, Jeice heard Zuke's question accompanied by Guldo's agonized cries—any thought of lying was instantly shattered by fear.

If he were caught lying, would he end up suffering a similarly horrific fate?

Although he couldn't see the Stand and didn't understand why Guldo's body was disappearing bit by bit, as if being eaten by something, the screams told him it was nothing pleasant.

"It was the Heeter Clan! The early-model scouters have a component provided by the Heeter Clan, and they embedded a tracking function in it!"

Jeice blurted out the answer without hesitation.

"And Lord Frieza—no, I mean Frieza—gave you Saiyans the early models. That's how the Heeter Clan could pinpoint your location!"

"The Heeter Clan again..."

Zuke frowned. Originally, he hadn't planned to deal with the Heeter Clan, but now it seemed he had no choice.

If he didn't eliminate them, they would likely keep causing trouble for him. After losing their leader, Elec, they had gone completely mad.

And the fact that Frieza had given the Saiyans early-model scouters with embedded tracking functions?

It seemed the Saiyans were truly treated poorly in the Frieza Force.

"We were on a nearby planet a few hours ago. Initially, your location was far away, so we didn't plan to go after you."

Jeice explained helplessly.

"But for some reason, your movement speed was incredibly fast. A distance that would normally take over a month to traverse, you covered in just a few hours, bringing you close to our location..."

"So you decided to take me out?"

Zuke couldn't help but laugh—it turned out the Ginyu Force hadn't chased him down with incredible speed. Instead, he had inadvertently approached their location.

In that light, the Ginyu Force was quite unlucky. Their annihilation might have been delayed if not for this coincidence.

"It was Captain Ginyu's decision. He said since you came to us, we might as well complete the task Frieza assigned..."

Jeice forced an awkward smile, his expression tinged with a hint of desperation.

"I... I've told you everything. Can you let me go now?"

"Of course. Get out of here."

Zuke narrowed his eyes and lifted his foot off Jeice's back.

Jeice was surprised, seemingly not expecting Zuke to actually let him go.

He quickly tried to get up, but to his horror, he found that his arms and legs had lost all strength. He couldn't even manage to stand.

While Jeice had been answering questions, Zuke had already drained his life energy—without his strength, even moving had become impossible.

"W-what did you do to me!?"

Jeice cried out in panic—but even his voice began to fade.

The Ginyu Force had never encountered Moro's abilities. The power to drain life energy and enhance one's strength was likely unknown even to Frieza.

Soon, Jeice fell silent—Zuke hadn't broken his promise to let him live a little longer. Jeice had indeed survived long enough to answer the questions.

"Now... how should I transport these bodies?"

After dealing with the Ginyu Force, Zuke looked at the pile of corpses and felt a bit troubled.

He didn't want to load these bodies onto his cube-shaped spaceship—it just felt unlucky.

Putting them in the Gate of Babylon was even more out of the question.

But he couldn't just leave them here either. After all, these corpses could still be used to intimidate the unruly Saiyans.

After some hesitation, Zuke decided to have Black Bird Requiem open the "Void Miasma" dimension and toss the bodies inside for transport.

Although the dimension's properties might disfigure the corpses... as long as they were still recognizable as the Ginyu Force, it would suffice.

To be continued…
