Chapter 26: Fate
Ivy had already used enough pressure on his body to make him feel pain but not injure him, but after seeing the look of defiance on his handsome face, she got excited and decided to increase the intensity even more.
The thought of increasing her bloodlust didn't even cross her mind, as she was using the limit of what he could handle. If she made it stronger, it could permanently harm his mind or make him faint, which she couldn't do, as she didn't want to harm him.
But in case he got injured, she would just heal him back up.
Arthur had only one thought in his mind: if he wanted to stop her, he had to at least reach her.
She was only five steps away from him.
He could see the wide smile on her face as if she was enjoying playing with him, which made him even angrier.
He already doubted why he was alive for so long. He could feel she could kill him at any moment, but knowing she was toying with him while he was struggling to survive made his blood boil.
