Lily was dumbfounded and glanced at Angus. "Mummy?" she questioned.
Angus remained silent, unsure of what to say.
"Put me down first," Lily instructed.
Angus obediently placed her down, and just as Lily turned in the direction of the girl, the child immediately leapt onto her.
Lily instinctively caught her, fearing she might fall. "Girl, why are you being so reckless?" she scolded.
The little girl smiled sweetly and suddenly kissed Lily on the cheek. "I knew Mummy would catch me," she responded.
Lily blinked twice. "Baby girl, you shouldn't trust strangers, you know."
"Don't worry, Mummy. I'm very smart. I know who to talk to. Besides, Mummy is not a stranger," the little girl replied confidently.
"Ehn?" Lily raised her brows in surprise. "What's your name?"
"Lora."
"Cool. Let me ask, why are you calling me Mummy?"
