Helly Rage Police Station
Lily rushed into the station, her heart pounding. Her mother had just informed her where Ewan had been taken, and the speed at which she'd left the hospital was unimaginable.
Now, she stood before a man dressed in a police uniform, seated calmly behind a desk in the cool atmosphere of the station.
"Um... sorry to bother you, sir. Actually, there's a guy named Ewan who was arrested. I'm the target, but it's not him—you've gotten the wrong person," she blurted out in a panic.
The man stared at Lily blankly, clearly dazed—most likely lost in her beauty to the point that he nearly drooled.
Lily, too anxious to notice, tapped repeatedly on the desk. "Please, write a statement. He's really innocent," she insisted.
The man snapped out of his trance and blinked at her. "Um... there's no record of someone named Ewan here. I'm sorry, ma'am," he responded, taking a deep breath.
