In just over two months, Wen Nuan's and Mo Xiaobai's scenes were nearing their end. Due to Mo Xiaobai's schedule and identity, his scenes were shot in a concentrated manner. Half of Wen Nuan's scenes were filmed with Mo Xiaobai, so once his part was wrapped up, hers was largely done as well. The rest was a matter for post-production. After finishing this film, Mo Xiaobai was preparing to return to the United States and would come back for reshoots if needed after the editing.
As "Liang Hongyu" was reaching its climax, though Peng Shuyao, Chen Xiuli, and Yang Yang were top actresses, their screen time wasn't substantial. After Mo Xiaobai finished his scenes, most of theirs wrapped up as well.
