Her phone rang interrupting her quiet time.
" Really people. I just landed in the country." She voiced out her frustration. She wrapped herself in a towel and headed to her bedroom.
She furrowed her brows when she saw the number.
Her heart twisted in pain. Scenarios kept popping up.
" What if it's Pablo?" she muttered to herself.
She clenched her fingers around the towel.
She nibbled on her lower lip.
" No, he doesn't know my new number," she reassured herself.
She took a deep breath before she answered the phone.
" Hello?" she quivered
" Suzzy,"
She frowned when she heard the voice. How did he get her number and wait?
" What has happened to Avery? Is she ok? Should I come there?" she panicked
" Relax, she is fine." Alex groaned
Why was she panicking? It's not like he is a bad person.
" What other food does she like. I know for sure she loves grilled fish but didn't touch it in Spain "
Suzzy rolled her eyes and scoffed before she said;
" Of course, she didn't touch it. After everything you did. Were you expecting her to eat that?"
" Be mindful of your words, Suzzy. I can forget your relationship with my wife and Sam." Alex cracked.
Suzzy cleared her throat and gave him what he needed to hang up.

"Beef and vegetable stir fry" Alex muttered.
He made his way to the kitchen. If he didn't make things right in Spain, he was going to make them right here.
"S-sir?"
Alex snapped out of his thoughts.
The staff stared at him. The cook moved towards Alex. He had never been to the kitchen before. What was he doing here?
"Do you need anything, Mr. Gibson?" he asked with a forced smile.
"Can't I be in my kitchen. I'm here to cook for my wife" he said
A smile crept on his lips. His wife. It felt amazing referring to Avery as his. They were married now.
