Chapter 215 - Chapter 215: The True God of Shinobi, An Unprecedented Feast

"...As expected of you, Yagyu."

After the initial shock, Sasuke Uchiha spoke with a tone of admiration.

Ever since Yagyu helped him annihilate the four great konoha clans, Sasuke had been completely won over by this peer of his.

A man of his word, Sasuke had already prepared himself to become Yagyu's shadow.

Once Yagyu became the Sixth Hokage, Sasuke would take on the role of the ANBU Commander, handling tasks that Yagyu couldn't openly undertake.

Even after receiving immense power from the Sage of Six Paths and having his Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan evolve into the six-tomoe Rinnegan, Sasuke didn't change his mind.

So, unlike Naruto, when Sasuke heard that Madara Uchiha had been defeated, he was only slightly surprised and found it entirely reasonable.

Yagyu had always been ahead of them since childhood, and now was no different.

With his strength and intelligence, not even the Sage of Six Paths' mother, Kaguya Ōtsutsuki, would stand a chance against Yagyu.

"That old man really knows how to lie. He said the responsibility of saving the world was on us," Naruto complained after snapping out of his shock. "But in the end, Yagyu handled everything before we even got a chance to do anything."

"Maybe our task was to undo the Infinite Tsukuyomi," Sasuke quipped, a rare moment of humor from him.

"Haha... That seems about right," Naruto chuckled, scratching his head.

"It's good that you're both safe," Yagyu said, feigning ignorance with a smile. "After surviving such a calamity, there must be good fortune ahead. It looks like you've both gained some incredible opportunities. With your current strength, if you had been there to assist me earlier, I'm sure I could have dealt with the enemy even more easily."

"Yagyu, you're the same. Your chakra reserves are ridiculously strong now," Naruto, in his Six Paths Sage Mode, sighed in amazement. "No wonder that old man called you a miracle of the shinobi world."

"Yagyu, did you become the Ten-Tails Jinchūriki?" Sasuke asked, puzzled.

Through the chakra vision of his six-tomoe Rinnegan, he could see that Yagyu's chakra reserves were even more astonishing than Obito Uchiha's when he became the Ten-Tails Jinchūriki. It was impossible to tell how many times greater Yagyu's chakra was compared to his and Naruto's combined.

"No, I'm not the Ten-Tails Jinchūriki, but it's not much different," Yagyu shook his head, not hiding the truth. "My Rinnegan's unique ocular technique is special. I absorbed all the chakra from the Ten-Tails."

"What?!"

Naruto's eyes widened in shock, and a hint of panic crept into his voice. "Did you absorb Kurama's chakra too?"

"I don't know, but I'm certain the Ten-Tails' chakra doesn't contain the wills of the Nine Tailed Beasts," Yagyu shook his head and explained slowly. "In truth, both Obito Uchiha and Madara Uchiha were just pawns. The true mastermind behind the Infinite Tsukuyomi was a woman named Kaguya Ōtsutsuki. Her will was housed within Madara's body, and she took over his body to resurrect herself. She then pulled me into an alternate dimension."

"Fortunately, my abilities countered hers, or I might have fallen to her as well."

"I see."

Naruto and Sasuke nodded in understanding, though Naruto's expression was tinged with sadness.

"Yagyu, he's not wrong. We don't sense the Ten-Tails' or our wills within him."

"It must have returned to its original state. After all, that woman is the Sage of Six Paths' mother."

"Death might be for the best. We've already completed the Sage's task anyway."

"..."

Meanwhile, in Naruto's mental space, the Nine Tailed Beasts, who had received a small portion of their chakra from the Sage of Six Paths, were also speaking.

The Nine Tailed Beasts weren't saddened by the death of their original forms.

After all, for decades, they had been sealed within their Jinchūriki, and being imprisoned was no different from death.

For them, this situation might even be a form of liberation.

Yagyu wasn't aware of the Nine Tailed Beasts' conversation.

After telling a well-intentioned lie, he began to undo the Infinite Tsukuyomi.

His eyes transformed into the Rinne-Sharingan, and he looked up at the sky.

In an instant, the silver moon turned crimson once again, and the shape of the Rinne-Sharingan appeared on its surface.

Seeing this, both Naruto and Sasuke were shocked.

"This..."

Before Naruto could exclaim, he saw Yagyu's eyes and was left speechless, his eyes wide with astonishment.

Sasuke, on the other hand, narrowed his eyes, recalling Yagyu's earlier words and beginning to piece things together.

Without a doubt, Yagyu hadn't become the Ten-Tails Jinchūriki.

His skin tone made that clear, and there was no Tailed Beast chakra within him like Naruto's.

Yet, Yagyu's Rinnegan had suddenly transformed into this form.

Although they had been in their mental spaces receiving the Sage of Six Paths' inheritance while Madara Uchiha cast the Infinite Tsukuyomi, they had learned about Kaguya Ōtsutsuki and the true purpose of the Infinite Tsukuyomi from the Sage.

So Sasuke was certain that Yagyu's eyes were the same as those of a Ten-Tails Jinchūriki.

Without becoming the Ten-Tails Jinchūriki, yet possessing the eyes capable of casting the Infinite Tsukuyomi.

Combined with Yagyu's claim of absorbing the Ten-Tails' chakra, it seemed that Yagyu's Rinnegan's unique ocular technique was far from simple.

However, neither Sasuke nor Naruto feared that Yagyu would become a second Madara Uchiha or Kaguya Ōtsutsuki, nor did they consider sealing him away now.

As childhood friends, they understood Yagyu's character well.

Moreover, given Yagyu's kindness to them and his recent act of saving their lives, they couldn't imagine him becoming a second Madara or Kaguya.

Yagyu's next actions further confirmed their beliefs.

With a series of hand seals, Yagyu chanted, "Infinite Tsukuyomi—Release!"

Whoosh—

As a blinding white light turned the night into day, the entire shinobi world, and even the entire planet, began to tremble slightly.

The massive tree branches, as large as mountains, withered at a visible pace, seemingly retreating back into the ground as they collapsed, releasing the white cocoons that had been suspended in the air.

As the cocoons unraveled like bandages, the people who had just entered the Infinite Tsukuyomi's dream world and were immersed in their fantasies slowly woke up.

"What... What's going on? Why am I here? I was just the Daimyō!"

"I was a shinobi, a great figure! Was that all a dream? Damn it, if it was a dream, why didn't you let me keep dreaming?"

"Nooo... I can't accept this! I just conquered the world, amassed wealth, and had countless beauties! I don't want to go back to reality!"

"..."

As soon as the Infinite Tsukuyomi was dispelled, the shinobi world became a cacophony of noise.

Countless cries and shouts shattered the night's tranquility, as if even the clouds in the sky were blown away.

Most of these people were utterly shattered.

It wasn't surprising they reacted this way. After all, Madara Uchiha had cast the Infinite Tsukuyomi to sever the cycle of war, allowing everyone to live in a world of dreams where they were happy and fulfilled.

If it weren't for the conflicting ideologies and the fact that the dreams were illusions, Madara wouldn't have been opposed by so many.

But dreams were just dreams, and the Infinite Tsukuyomi didn't just trap all humans in a world of dreams—it also gradually transformed their bodies into non-human entities like the White Zetsu.

If they had known this, perhaps fewer people would have been so devastated.

Of course, Yagyu didn't care whether these ordinary people were shattered or not.

The shinobi alliance, having awakened from the Infinite Tsukuyomi, also felt a tinge of regret, but their strong mental fortitude allowed them to quickly recover and realize that the war was over—Yagyu had won.

Thus, the shinobi alliance abandoned their retreat and turned back toward the Land of Rain.

They were going to reunite with Yagyu and the others, as well as search for and recover their comrades' bodies.

As for how to handle the Rinnegan and the vessel sealing the Nine Tailed Beasts, the four great shinobi villages no longer dared to entertain such thoughts.

It wasn't even midnight yet, and the night had only lasted a few hours.

In those few hours, several earth-shattering explosions had occurred, and a Wood Release technique that covered the entire Land of Rain—and even its neighboring countries—had been unleashed.

Such power, whether it was Yagyu's or the enemy's, proved that Yagyu's strength was on an entirely different level.

And since Yagyu had emerged victorious, it meant he was even stronger than the enemy.

Ōnoki, who had witnessed Madara Uchiha's power firsthand and knew how terrifying Hashirama Senju's strength was, didn't believe that the First Hokage or Madara Uchiha could stand a chance against Yagyu.

With such power, Yagyu was undoubtedly the true God of Shinobi.

Not only could he unify the shinobi world, but even if he wanted to abolish the Daimyō system, no one would dare oppose him.

Moreover, this war had left the five great shinobi villages severely weakened, while Konoha, thanks to its new generation of shinobi—with the Mangekyō Sharingan, the Nine-Tails Jinchūriki, and the Fifth Hokage's top students—had suffered minimal losses.

Now, whether in terms of high-end combat power or overall strength, Konoha had left the five great shinobi villages far behind.

They no longer dared to voice any opinions on how to handle the Rinnegan or the vessel sealing the Nine Tailed Beasts.

In fact, they hoped Yagyu would unify the shinobi world.

That way, they could become part of Konoha and avoid Yagyu's potential retaliation, slowly purging the five great nations.

However, they overestimated themselves and didn't realize that Yagyu wasn't even from this world.

Managing a village and securing supreme power and status in his own life was Yagyu's limit.

As for ruling the shinobi world, reforming this feudal era, and ensuring everyone lived happily, Yagyu had only three words: "Wishful thinking."

With his lifespan still unresolved, Yagyu had no intention of spending most of his time on politics.

Even if he became the Sixth Hokage, Yagyu would delegate most of his authority, becoming a hands-off leader.

With his strength, reshaping the order would be as simple as a thought, and he wasn't afraid of being sidelined.

In fact, if Yagyu wanted, he could reclaim all chakra or use the Infinite Tsukuyomi to create a group of White Zetsu to rule the shinobi world.

But Yagyu didn't do this. Instead, he let the shinobi roam free, allowing certain geniuses to drive technological advancements and usher in a new era.

After all, he knew that in a decade or two, the shinobi world would enter a high-tech era.

Having lived in a high-tech world in his previous life, Yagyu eagerly awaited that day.

Since the Land of Rain had been reduced to nothing and there was nothing left to scavenge, and with the Divine: Deep Forest Emergence's branches scattered everywhere, the five great shinobi villages' forces searched in vain. The shinobi alliance disbanded on the spot, planning to send a team back in the morning to search the forest for bodies, to see if they had been reduced to dust in the explosions or if any remnants remained.

"I'll take you all back."

Yagyu then rose into the air, activated the Amenominaka, and transferred all the Konoha shinobi into the Kamui dimension. He then used the Yomotsu Hirasaka to tear open a black portal.

Flying through the portal, Yagyu emerged back in Konoha's central square.

In the next moment, the Konoha shinobi appeared on the square.

"This... This is the village square!"

"We're back? How long did that take? A minute?"

"It wasn't even thirty seconds!"

"This isn't the Flying Thunder God Technique. Is this a space-time ninjutsu Yagyu developed?"

"Incredible!"

"..."

Returning from the desolate battlefield of the Land of Rain to Konoha's square in less than a minute left all the Konoha shinobi in awe. They looked up at Yagyu, floating in the air, as if gazing upon a deity.

Even Naruto and Sasuke were filled with astonishment.

Having become Six Paths-level beings, they were fully aware of their own strength.

But even with their current power, they couldn't detect how Yagyu had transported them to an alternate dimension.

Especially Sasuke, who had awakened the Amenotejikara, didn't sense anything at all.

Such space-time ninjutsu was simply terrifying.

Tsunade, standing to the side with a hand on her hip, smiled with pride and muttered, "I was planning to stay in office for a few more years, but it looks like it's time for me to retire early."

Ignoring the Konoha shinobi below, Yagyu once again transported Hinata and the others into the Amenominaka. With a Flying Thunder God Technique, he returned home and released them.

"Yagyu, I love you!"

As soon as they appeared, Ino couldn't help but pounce on Yagyu, wrapping her arms around his neck and planting a passionate kiss on him, right in front of Hinata and the others, her emotions erupting like a volcano.

This time, Karin, Sakura, and even Hinata didn't shy away. Instead, they surrounded him.

Having witnessed Yagyu's divine intervention and having just been immersed in the Infinite Tsukuyomi's dream world, their emotions had reached a boiling point, and they couldn't hold back any longer.

Yagyu, of course, welcomed them all. After activating the barrier in his home, he began to enjoy an even more sumptuous feast than the one with Hinata and Karin.

However, in their emotional frenzy, they forgot about Hanabi and Hikari Uchiha, who were sleeping in one of the rooms.
