A/N: Hey, Shonpufi Here!
So here's this week's first chapter.
It's been kind of hard this week. I've been so excited about posting these chapters that I was considering posting this one yesterday, Monday. But I have to keep up with the schedule; otherwise, things will get messy for me, and things will get out of control.
Anyways, enjoy the chapter!
Also, if you are a Genshin Lore junkie and you have read the previous version of this fanfic, you will notice the small but important details in this chapter.
I feel like it should be kinda obvious, but that's just me.

-??? POV-
How curious. The human before me, if I could even call him one to begin with, has multiple spiritual patterns coming off of him.
It's as if he were an amalgamation of multiple races, all placed together into one body, one soul.
I can sense...four of them?
Anyways, I strayed from the main point.
It seems like he doesn't have the eggswithin his possession.
I inspected every inch of his body with my spiritual energy when I hit him with a strong jab with my wing. There was no sign of the eggs. It also didn't seem like he had any spatial storage items, a place where he could have hidden the eggs.
The only reason I suspect that this human stole those dragons' eggs is because he was the only living being flying away from the location the energy burst had originated from. And he was soaring through the sky like his life depended on it.
Not even the surrounding squirrels fled as far and fast as he.
And there's also his... unique body constitution.
Anywho, since he doesn't possess the eggs, this whole fight is useless. Although that doesn't mean that I will let him go just yet. I need to take him back to the Xianzhou and have that large haired buffoon decide his fate.
His uniqueness is far too dangerous to be left unattended.
As that human prepared for further combat, he spoke, "Let's get this over with you oversized bir-"
"Let us postpone this fight"
It seems like my words baffled him... heh~
-3rd POV-
Meliodas now sat across the crane that had attempted to kill him earlier with an awkward look.
The stupidly strong crane also seemed to be able to control and produce ice. Using the ice, she had created a small table and chair for them both so that they could have a civilized talk.
"So, um..." Meliodas wanted to say something, but the situation had started and finished so fast that he couldn't find the right words to begin with. It was also super awkward for him because he actually had those eggs she was searching for. The only reason he denied he had them to begin with was because he didn't know the consequences he would suffer if she found out he had stolen them.
So, for now, he was going to keep his mouth shut.
"Apologies human, I might have jumped to conclusion" She apologized, her tone laced with sincerity.
'Eh? She apologized?' Meliodas thought in surprise.
"Well, um, apology accepted?" He accepted her apology.
"Now that we've concluded this small misunderstanding, allow me to introduce myself." Her body exploded into a puff of smoke, shocking Meliodas. But he soon realized what she was doing as the scene reminded him of the transformation jutsu from Naruto.
'The fuck? oh yeah, they can turn into human form as well' Meliodas concluded.
As the smoke settled, his Meliodas's heart stopped for a single second.
There she was, a beautiful woman with long white hair with light blue tips, skin as pale as snow, and deep crimson eyes.
Her clothing consists of an elegant dress in black, dark blue, and white, along with designs of moon phases and clouds. She wears a blue ribbon in her hair and a red ribbon on the hip and back of the dress. She also wears dark, knee-length heeled boots.
"I am often referred to as Aria, but you may call me Jingliu" She introduced herself.
*Badump!*
Meliodas felt as if his heart was beating faster than a Jerkmate "Grandmaster Baiter" could wank his meat.
'Damnit!' He groaned internally. His heart has never gone out of control like this, it was as if... no, it's not possible, is it?
And it wasn't like this was Meliodas's first time seeing Jingliu. He had seen her many times in the game, Honkai: Star Rail, which he played often.
Wait, why was she even here? this is Genshin Impact, not Honkai: Star Rail.
Even IF this was an AU, seeing Jingliu suddenly was a huge surprise to Meliodas.
As Meliodas was experiencing inner turmoil, Jingliu, who was watching his reaction to her, tilted her head in confusion.
"Are you alright?" Jingliu asked. She could tell that his complexion was getting worse: rapid breathing and flushed skin. Perhaps he was getting sick?
"I-I'm fine" He reassured, getting a grip on these foreign feelings.
Taking a deep breath, he spoke, "The name is Meliodas"
"Meliodas..." Jingliu muttered under her breath. The name was foreign, one that she had never heard of before.
Turning back to her crane form, she got off her ice chair. "Follow me... we have much to discuss."
And so, she began to fly. And for Meliodas? he began to follow her without a second thought.
----------
A/N: I know what you guys might be thinking "A foreign feeling? is he stupid or something?"
I know that you guys think it should be obvious to Meliodas that what he felt was him falling for her at first sight, but it shouldn't.
You should remember that in his past life, he had a shity family. The only decent relationship that he had was with his mother, who had passed away.
So, Meliodas wasn't really familiar with affection until he adopted his kids in the present time. but what he experienced wasn't "Love Love", but paternal love.
And now that he met Jingliu, he's in the first stages of falling for someone, something that he's never experienced before. Or at least something he never got a chance to have due to focusing on university to become a doctor.
Anyways, I just wanted to say this so that y'all won't yell at me in the comments, saying that the MC is "Stupid" or "Oblivious"
