The shadows beneath him erupted with blinding brilliance as he launched into the air, sword crackling with twin halos.
"Twilight Rend." In mid-air, he spun—the motion so precise it could cut the world. Dozens of arcs of radiant-dark energy spiraled from his blade, slashing into Vel-Skar's body in perfect harmony.
Chunks of corrupted flesh tore free, disintegrating into smoke.
Vel-Skar screamed and retaliated with a blast of Corruption Pulse—a shockwave of decay and entropy. The Reaper dropped to one knee as part of his armor melted under the strike.
"Enough," he muttered.
Black Tide raised his blade high, and a ring of black fire erupted beneath him.
He activated his signature fusion skill—"Eclipse Dominion."
A dome of twilight energy spread out, engulfing the chamber. Inside, all light and all shadow bent to his will. Vel-Skar's corruption shriveled under the weight of both illumination and void.
