Chapter 512 - Reincarnation Sovereign and Reincarnation Lord

In the Root Universe, the Destiny Computer hovered, continually wriggling, within the Cosmic Source Sea. The Reincarnation Will's true form clone was too enormous; the Destiny Computer couldn't encompass it and could only devour it bit by bit. Thus, Rosen had no choice but to separate the Destiny Computer from his brain. It wasn't too late to re-integrate it once it was completely merged and digested.

At this moment, the Destiny Computer had fully integrated this brain-like shell and began its final sublimation and transformation. Under the shroud of time acceleration, the Destiny Computer's metamorphosis took tens of thousands of years. Rosen opened his palm, and the Destiny Computer, whose true volume was several light-years in diameter, shrunk to fit into his hand.

[Destiny Computer: Miracle Treasure]

[Level: Reincarnation Holy Item]

[Miracle Attribute: Can arbitrarily create and destroy completely real destiny universes]

[Miracle Characteristics: Destiny System, Source Essence Host, Destiny Programming, Destiny Network, Reincarnation Sovereign]

"Reincarnation Sovereign?" Rosen was slightly taken aback by the Destiny Computer's sole change. He had originally hoped the Destiny Computer could transcend reincarnation, but it still couldn't. Clearly, even the Reincarnation Will's shell wasn't a resource that could allow one to transcend reincarnation. What the Dark Sun Sovereign and Nightfall Sovereign had painstakingly pursued could not possibly allow them to transcend.

Rosen carefully examined the Reincarnation Sovereign miracle characteristic, and the more he understood, the more shocked he became. Because with the Destiny Computer, he could control all reincarnation in the Great Reincarnation Realm through the Reincarnation Sovereign characteristic. Whether it was Spacetime Reincarnation, Life-and-Death Reincarnation, or even Karma Reincarnation, he could fully control them. With complete control over Karma Reincarnation, he could control the karma entangled on him. Now, even if the Great Reincarnation Realm were to be destroyed and restarted, he temporarily wouldn't have to worry about dying completely due to karmic entanglement.

But this was only temporary; it merely converted a death sentence into a suspended one. Because when the next Epoch Cycle restarted, he would automatically replace the Reincarnation Will as the new Reincarnation Will of the Great Reincarnation Realm due to the Reincarnation Sovereign characteristic, thereby automatically stepping into the realm of half-step transcendence of reincarnation. On the surface, this seemed like a good thing, but the karma entangled on him would not disappear. Controlling all karmic reincarnation in the entire Great Reincarnation Realm only meant he could barely control all the karma entwined on him; shaking off this karma was out of the question. In fact, with each destruction and restart of an Epoch Cycle, an additional instance of karma would entangle him.

This was an inevitable negative consequence of becoming the Reincarnation Will. As more and more karma entangled him, there would eventually come a day when this karma surpassed the control limit of Karma Reincarnation. At that time, even as the Reincarnation Will, he would die from the entangled karma.

Clearly, over a thousand Epoch Cycles ago, the Reincarnation Will had already detected that karmic entanglement would grow stronger and stronger. So, from that time, it had already begun to prepare a way out for itself. Only now, in this Epoch Cycle, were all preparations complete, and only now, when the Reincarnation Will could no longer bear more entangled karma, did it perform its "cicada-shedding escape," even giving him a chance to live until the next Epoch Cycle, so he wouldn't be forced to a dead end in this one.

The Reincarnation Will gave him two choices: the first was to become the new Reincarnation Will in the next Epoch Cycle. In doing so, he would gain three hundred billion years of dominion over the Great Reincarnation Realm. The second choice was to refuse to become the new Reincarnation Will, which would result in death in this Epoch Cycle. Doing so might cause some damage to the Reincarnation Will, but the exact extent of the damage was unknown.

From a rational perspective, the first option should be chosen; three hundred billion years of reprieve was still very appealing. But Rosen unhesitatingly chose the second option. While three hundred billion years was a long time, once a person knows how much longer they have to live, once they know the countdown to death, every single minute and second will be an agony. He knew all too well how agonizing it was to be chased by death during the ten million years leading up to the Great Reincarnation Realm's destruction.

If he truly became the new Reincarnation Will burdened by karma, it would be three hundred billion years of prolonged agony. Therefore, he had no intention of following the Reincarnation Will's plan to become the new Reincarnation Will. Nor would he allow the Reincarnation Will to successfully achieve its "cicada-shedding escape" and transcend. Even less would he resign himself to being a scapegoat. It was either completely get rid of the karma, or go down in a blaze of glory.

Rosen integrated the Destiny Computer into his brain and then activated the Reincarnation Sovereign miracle characteristic. Although the Destiny Computer didn't undergo a qualitative change, it did experience a quantitative change after merging with the Reincarnation Will's true form clone. The storage capacity of the Source Essence Host surged dozens of times, and the computing power of the Destiny System increased hundreds of times. Rosen even replaced the Reincarnation Will, temporarily becoming the new World Will of the Great Reincarnation Realm.

If he wished, his indestructible will could now fully merge with the entire Great Reincarnation Realm and completely become the new Reincarnation Will. However, doing so would leave him no retreat, so he chose only to indirectly control the Great Reincarnation Realm through the Destiny Computer.

The Great Reincarnation Realm could now last for less than a million years at most. This was only with the Reincarnation Lifeforms of the two major factions exerting their utmost effort to delay its destruction; otherwise, it would have been annihilated in a maximum of a hundred thousand years. Through the Reincarnation Sovereign's control over the Great Reincarnation Realm, Rosen's mastery of Reincarnation power increased beyond imagination. His will, channeled through the Destiny Computer, could easily descend upon the entire Great Reincarnation Realm. However, he searched every inch of the Great Reincarnation Realm but could not find the Reincarnation Will's hiding place. It was as if it didn't exist, hiding in the shadows, confident of victory.

The Reincarnation Will no longer had its true form clone and had now abandoned the identity of the Reincarnation Sovereign. It had even shed the karma entangled on it. At this moment, the Reincarnation Will was undoubtedly at its weakest. If he could find the Reincarnation Will, killing it wouldn't be difficult.

Rosen began to ponder: where could the Reincarnation Will be hiding? All cosmic remnants in Endless Deep Space had been destroyed, and the spacetime of the entire Endless Deep Space was collapsing. The remaining unstable regions were being stabilized by the Reincarnation Lifeforms of the two major factions to buy time. So, it was unlikely that the Reincarnation Will was hiding there. As for the already collapsed spacetime regions, Reincarnation Lifeforms couldn't stay there for long either.

The only remaining possibility was the Memory World, which was intimately connected to the Reincarnation Will. If the Reincarnation Will were hiding in the Memory World, finding it would indeed be difficult. There was also the worst-case scenario: the Reincarnation Will was hiding in some corner of a universe, a world, or even disguised as an ordinary person on some planet in the Root Universe. Rosen hadn't forgotten how the Reincarnation Will had disappeared with Blue Star. So, he suspected that the Reincarnation Will might be hiding in some planet or city within the Root Universe, disguised as an ordinary person.

If this were the case, unless all life in the Root Universe was exterminated, it would be impossible to find the Reincarnation Will. If the Reincarnation Will truly was hiding in the Root Universe, Rosen would grit his teeth and do it. But what if the Reincarnation Will wasn't in the Root Universe, but rather inside a universe clone, or inside those universes sealed as Spirit Realm paintings, or even within the portable worlds of the two major factions' Reincarnation Lifeforms? He couldn't just destroy all worlds and kill all life to search for the Reincarnation Will.

Rosen did want to do that, but doing so would likely cause the two major factions to turn against him. Right now, the two major factions were fully helping him because they didn't want him to be pushed to the brink and take everyone down with him. If they knew that he had become the Reincarnation Sovereign and could survive another Epoch Cycle, then they certainly wouldn't work so hard. They might even take advantage of the Great Reincarnation Realm's destruction and restart to eliminate him. Because if he lived until the next Epoch Cycle, the karma entwined with him would still pose a fatal threat to the two major factions. It would be better to take advantage of the Great Reincarnation Realm's destruction and rebirth, when he, the newly appointed Reincarnation Sovereign, was weakest, to eliminate him and make that karma disappear with him. Nothing was more effective at destroying karma than rooting it out. As for why they weren't rooting him out now, it was because if he died now, the karma wouldn't disappear. Only during the transitional phase of the Epoch Cycle's destruction and restart would the karma originating from the Great Reincarnation Realm weaken to its absolute limit.

Rosen looked at the destiny network. With the Reincarnation Sovereign's control over Karma Reincarnation, although this portion of karma couldn't be completely detached, weaving it into a destiny network to a certain extent of suppression wouldn't be a problem. As karma was woven into the destiny network, the increasingly vast destiny network began to spread into the Memory World. The two major factions noticed, but at this point, no one wanted to provoke Rosen.

Rosen spent a hundred thousand years successfully expanding the destiny network throughout the entire Memory World. He continued to expand into Endless Deep Space, and the remaining small portion of Endless Deep Space was easily enveloped by the destiny network.

Rosen was still not satisfied. He began to gather all Reincarnation Lifeforms to assist him in creating an extraordinary system. All the extraordinary systems he currently possessed originated from other entities. After all, he had lived for too short a time; every Reincarnation Lifeform's extraordinary system takes at least 300 billion years to perfect, and up to several hundred Epoch Cycles to complete. Even then, only seven Epoch Sovereigns had been born. Rosen wanted to create an extraordinary system that could make him the ninth Epoch Sovereign, and the difficulty of this undertaking was immense.

While the Destiny Computer could significantly reduce the difficulty, it would still be wishful thinking without the help of other Reincarnation Lifeforms. Rosen began to review all the extraordinary systems he had encountered since stepping onto the path of the extraordinary. Noble Lord, Artist-Painter, Hunter, and the True Creator sequence—which was created but later replaced by the Indestructible Will system—these extraordinary sequences had an upper limit of Immortal level, and strictly speaking, they were all subsidiaries of the Immortal Will system. Therefore, these could only serve as references; he needed to create a truly unique extraordinary system from scratch.

After much deliberation, Rosen ultimately settled on the Lord sequence. The Lord sequence was not the Noble sequence. The core of the Noble sequence included not only territory but also honor and other aspects. However, the Lord sequence he intended to create belonged purely to the master of a territory. The starting point of the Lord sequence was not Sequence 9; its lowest level was True God from the very beginning. The core territory of the Lord sequence, from its inception, was to be benchmarked against the Reincarnation level.

Rosen directly used cosmic vitality and cosmic death qi as the core to attempt to construct the Lord sequence's territorial core. But the result was a failure; these two were difficult to coexist without a special medium. Rosen thought of Reincarnation Source Essence. He peeled off a brain cell from the Destiny Computer, then converted the brain-cell-shaped Destiny Computer into an energy computer, and finally used it as a medium to integrate cosmic vitality and cosmic death qi into it.

Still, it didn't work. At most, this would form a Life-and-Death Reincarnation system, unrelated to a lord. Rosen continued to integrate the Indestructible Source Seed, then made cosmic vitality and cosmic death qi subservient to the Indestructible Source Seed. These two subservient elements endowed the extraordinary source essence, with the Indestructible Source Seed as its core, with two core sequence abilities: Creation from cosmic vitality and Destruction from cosmic death qi. Through the Destruction sequence ability, the roots extending from the extraordinary source essence could transform everything it destroyed into cosmic vitality. Then, by consuming cosmic vitality, the roots of the extraordinary source essence could grow fruits that create all things.

Whether it was life or architecture, worlds or laws, miracle treasures or extraordinary wonders, this Lord sequence's extraordinary source essence could create them by consuming cosmic vitality. Mastering the Lord sequence was equivalent to mastering everything. Rosen separated a clone, integrated the Lord sequence's extraordinary source essence, and began to perfect this sequence. Relying on the Indestructible Source Seed within the extraordinary source essence, he continuously fed resources into it, destroying them with cosmic death qi, then converting them into cosmic vitality through Life-and-Death Reincarnation, and finally transforming cosmic vitality into cosmic origin to grow all things through the Indestructible Source Seed.

Endless resources were poured into it, and a cosmic-level world was quickly formed with the extraordinary source essence as its core. The universe thus created indeed possessed more advantages than an ordinary universe. However, it was still far from enough to become an Epoch Sovereign, because these fundamentally could not transcend reincarnation.

Rosen continued to modify and perfect the Lord sequence, even pulling in the Nightfall Sovereign and the others to help him perfect it. As long as he was the first to master the final product of the extraordinary system, it didn't matter if he didn't perfect it himself. Wasn't the Reincarnation Will the same, disguising itself as the Indestructible Sovereign, then relying on the Nightfall Sovereign to perfect the Indestructible Will extraordinary system, ultimately allowing the Indestructible Sovereign to become an Epoch Sovereign while the Nightfall Sovereign could only create the Eye of Nightfall system to become an Epoch Sovereign?

As the research deepened, Rosen quickly realized he was on the right track. He didn't possess the Nightfall Sovereign's wisdom, so creating an extraordinary system that could make him an Epoch Sovereign on his own was impossible. But now he had the opportunity to have all Reincarnation Lifeforms help him. Therefore, he could completely gather the extraordinary systems of all Reincarnation Lifeforms, extract their essences, and create an extraordinary system with powerful inclusivity. Simply put, it was a synthesis, with the concept of a "Lord" as the core, synthesizing countless extraordinary sequences. Then, all the extraordinary systems created by all Reincarnation Lifeforms over countless years would become subsidiaries of the Lord sequence.

As time passed year by year, the Lord sequence, refined by the wisdom of thousands of Reincarnation Lifeforms, grew closer and closer to perfection. However, even the most perfect extraordinary system, without practice, could not succeed. So, while the spacetime of Endless Deep Space had not completely collapsed, Rosen gathered all Reincarnation Lifeforms to prepare for the final verification. If the verification succeeded, he would not only be able to become an Epoch Sovereign but might even solve the problem of karmic entanglement.

After much consideration, Rosen decided to name this brand-new extraordinary system Reincarnation Lord.
