Chapter 417 - The Eternal Mechanical Race and the Eternal Starship

As the mysterious mechanical lifeform's corpse took root, sprouted, and bore fruit, the Root Fruit quickly matured and fell.

Rosen opened the Root Fruit, and a mechanical fire seed fell out.

He was no stranger to the mechanical fire seed. The core of the mechanical race was the mechanical fire seed, which was essentially their soul. With the fire seed, the mechanical race could freely modify and upgrade their bodies.

However, upon careful perception, the Eternal Will noticed that this mechanical fire seed seemed a bit different.

Rosen extended his hand to absorb it, and the fire seed immediately merged with his soul. But shortly after, it continued to envelop his soul and fuse into the Ancient God Body, causing his soul and life essence to blend on a deeper level while simultaneously modifying his body at the genetic level.

However, this modification was short-lived because the power of this special mechanical fire seed was exhausted.

After all, he was a great true god on par with the immortal godfiends, whereas the mysterious mechanical lifeform that produced this fire seed had only been at Sequence 0 during its lifetime, which meant it could not fully modify his Ancient God Body, which was composed of the immortal world's essence.

Therefore, more special mechanical fire seeds were needed—more corpses of mysterious mechanical lifeforms.

Through the window to the world, Rosen gazed down upon the Eternal Mechanical City from the Mysterious Study Room.

The corpses he had obtained earlier were all those whose brains and spiritual essence were destroyed in an instant, causing their deaths.

The mysterious mechanical lifeforms that died in the streets had already been cleared away and burned.

However, those who died at home or in private areas were preserved intact within their homes, protected by the rules of the Eternal Mechanical City. But after many years, these corpses had decayed.

To obtain a mechanical fire seed that satisfied him, he could not leave a single corpse in the entire city unexamined.

Rosen attempted to manipulate the Mysterious Study Room to move away from Amy. The moment it separated, he sensed a threat.

The Mysterious Study Room's hiding ability clearly couldn't deceive the Eternal Mechanical City.

Thus, using the Mysterious Study Room to steal the corpses was impossible. He would have to use other, more troublesome methods.

Rosen used his mental canvas to imprint the inner city of the Eternal Mechanical City, then transferred the imprint to the Creator's Tome. Next, he merged the space law into the image and, at the last moment, manifested a time-space fishing rod, manipulating the hook to drop into the canvas.

The hooks split into countless pieces, crossing the void, and almost simultaneously appeared in the residences of every mechanical skyscraper.

In an instant, all the corpses were fished away.

Originally, the Eternal Mechanical City could have stopped this, but to do so quickly, they would have needed to breach private areas, which the official mechanical guards could not do. Therefore, to prevent the time-space fishing rod from taking the corpses, they could only implement a city-wide space lockdown.

But they were a step too late. As long as Rosen acted quickly enough, he could take all the corpses before the space lockdown took effect.

Inside the Snake Mother's Gourd, all the corpses were laid out before him.

Rosen inspected them: there were several hundred thousand corpses, with the weakest being Sequence 0 extraordinary mechanical lifeforms.

But it wasn't enough. The power remaining in the special mechanical fire seeds inside these corpses had become exceedingly faint after being eroded by the passage of time.

Rosen released the Root Mother Worm to parasitize all the corpses. With the assistance of the Eternal Origin of Creation, special mechanical fire seeds quickly sprouted.

Since no more corpses could be found in the Eternal Mechanical City, his thoughts immediately turned to the mechanical race.

The mechanical race's fire seeds, while not as powerful as these special mechanical fire seeds, were a simplified version. Still, both came from the same origin. If he used the fire seeds of the mechanical race as nourishment, he believed it would be enough to cultivate the special mechanical fire seeds to a level that would satisfy him.

The issue was that the mechanical race belonged to the Star Realm, and the Star Realm had immortal godfiends as temporary allies.

What if those allies tried to stop him if he went there and bullied the smaller race?

Rosen glanced at Amy outside the window. He could not do it, but Amy could.

As long as it wasn't bullying the weak, he wouldn't be in the wrong.

However, relying solely on Amy's strength was far from enough to hunt down the countless mechanical races.

Thus, she would need some assistance. The best helpers were the Eternal Incarnations he had sent into various races.

When he first obtained the power of Eternal Incarnations, he created a large number of them, transforming them into the divine offspring of true gods from different races.

Originally, he intended to have them grow and infiltrate various races, but he hadn't expected the World Will to discover them.

The exposed trump card no longer held any value in remaining hidden, and this time, it would help Amy destroy the mechanical race.

Although the Eternal Incarnations were involved, it essentially meant that Rosen himself had taken action.

However, while the World Will could see through the true nature of the Eternal Incarnations, the one behind the Star Realm could not.

"I need you to annihilate the mechanical race."

Rosen's voice echoed through the Mysterious Study Room and entered Amy's sea of consciousness.

"What do I need to do?"

Amy blinked in surprise before eagerly asking.

"Lead my Eternal Incarnations and crush the mechanical race."

Rosen's cold words determined the fate of a powerful race in the Ancient God World.

Amy left behind her divine incarnation, reluctant to part with her true body as she departed the Eternal Mechanical City. All of the awakened Eternal Incarnations began to gather around Amy through the data transfer of the Main God Network. Soon, tens of thousands of Eternal Incarnations, the weakest of which were Sequence 1 and the strongest becoming gods, all assembled.

No tactics were needed. All they had to do was encircle the mechanical race and crush them.

The only concern was the reinforcement of the true gods of the Star Realm races.

But they didn't dare interfere. The four great factions had already relinquished some of their territories, as it was clear to anyone with common sense that Rosen had reached the level of the immortal godfiends behind them. Investigating Amy's background wasn't difficult, and not many true gods would oppose him just to stand with the mechanical race.

The Mechanical Continent, one of the few places in the Ancient God World that still maintained order.

The mechanical race's population had always been small, and even though the World Will strengthened fertility laws, it was still hard to increase their numbers.

So over the years, not only had the mechanical race's population not grown, but most of the resources they had acquired were used to create various war machines. They even transformed the entire Mechanical Continent into a giant war fortress, defending against any approaching threats.

As a mechanic, Amy understood all the strengths and weaknesses of the mechanical race.

They had many advantages: a small population, concentrated resources, low maintenance costs when war machines weren't in use, and all their war machines were fiercely unafraid of death. With sufficient resources, their war potential could even surpass that of the insect race.

But their weaknesses were also clear. Once a war started, the resource consumption was terrifying.

Additionally, their small population made it difficult to replace fallen warriors.

Amy, through the Main God Network, gave the order, and thousands of Eternal Incarnations who hadn't yet ascended to divinity began to act.

Since these Eternal Incarnations were either divine offspring or born into powerful transcendent families, the forces they could mobilize were far beyond their own strength. At this moment, all the Eternal Incarnations gathered their entire combat power and spread out, pulling out scrolls.

The paintings depicted portal gates, with the ability to transfer with fifty percent of the capability of a true portal gate.

These gates were capable of locking onto coordinates and directly crossing through to the vicinity of the mechanical race to execute decapitation tactics.

The mechanical race had no time to react before intruders emerged from the portals.

Some mechanical race members were immediately surrounded and killed, their bodies sent away, but there were also some who managed to counterattack and kill Rosen's Eternal Incarnations.

This decapitation tactic was completed in less than half an hour, with sixty percent of the mechanical race wiped out and forty percent of the Eternal Incarnations lost.

In terms of results, the Eternal Incarnations had a decisive victory, but for the mechanical race, their overall combat strength had been reduced by no more than ten percent.

This was because the mechanical race members who died had left behind a large number of war machines that had not been consumed during the decapitation.

The five true gods of the mechanical race immediately awakened the dormant Mechanical Continent.

The entire continent was made of metal, and now it came alive, transforming and reconfiguring into a perfect spherical shape. Then, the giant metal sphere rose into the air, heading toward the Star Realm. Once it entered the Star Realm, the mechanical race would be safe.

However, just as the Mechanical Continent was about to enter the Star Realm, it suddenly lost its ability to fly and plummeted back down.

The true gods of the mechanical race were horrified to realize that they could no longer control the Mechanical Continent.

The control of the Mechanical Continent had been interfered with and sabotaged.

At that moment, Amy received a reminder from her virtual butler through the Main God Network, and she learned that the virtual butler had successfully infiltrated the Mechanical God Network using the information source seed, and had interfered with the mechanical race's true gods' control of the Mechanical Continent.

The out-of-control Mechanical Continent continued to accelerate and, in less than ten seconds, crashed into the sea, creating a terrifying shockwave that swept across hundreds of billions of kilometers. The crust was nearly pierced, and the Mechanical Continent was almost entirely reduced to scrap metal.

Fortunately, most of the mechanical race survived. They never imagined that anyone could infiltrate the Mechanical God Network so silently.

All the remaining mechanical race members were taken into the domains of the five true gods.

They then scattered and began fleeing in different directions.

They were well aware that even a great true god would find it difficult to invade the Mechanical God Network. The only one capable of such a feat would be the master of the Main God Network, the legendary monster said to be on par with the immortal godfiends.

The direction was correct, but the identity of the person responsible was not guessed correctly.

Rosen didn't need to take direct action. The great true god-level virtual butler, combined with the information source seed and the Main God computer, was more than enough to easily infiltrate the Mechanical God Network. At that moment, the virtual butler was already using the Main God Network to devour the Mechanical God Network.

The five mechanical race true gods had barely escaped a short distance when they were surrounded by thousands of Eternal Incarnations.

Although surrounded, the five true gods were not the least bit panicked.

This was because the allies who had come to their rescue were already on their way, and it would be no more than a minute before they were safe.

However, at this moment, Amy activated her miracle trait, Miracle Wish.

After all, Amy was Rosen's pet, and she could share part of his power.

In the past, it had been difficult for her to share the Miracle Sequence due to its special nature, but after acquiring the Miracle Source Seed, Amy could now share even the Miracle Sequence. With the amplification of the Miracle Source Seed, the power of all miracles received a massive boost.

Miracle Wish, of course, was no exception. Amy wished for the mechanical race's rescue to be delayed.

At that moment, the dozen or so true gods coming to the mechanical race's aid, including a great true god, encountered a series of unexpected accidents along the way. What should have been a rescue in less than a minute was delayed by several minutes before they finally arrived.

By then, the five mechanical race true gods had already been beaten to death.

Although only a few of Rosen's Eternal Incarnations had reached Sequence 0, the weakest were still taboo gods with 13 points of growth, and each was equipped with full sets of true god-level extraordinary artifacts. Surrounding and killing the five true gods whose Mechanical God Network had been infiltrated took only a few minutes.

The battlefield was cleaned up in less than a minute, and by the time reinforcements arrived, the dust had already settled.

In the Ancient God True Realm, the five sealed mechanical race true gods were dissected.

Then, in their domains, the mechanical race faced the suppression of the Creator's domain with no ability to fight back.

All of the mechanical fire seeds of the mechanical race were stripped away and turned into the nourishment required for the growth of special mechanical fire seeds.

In the end, the mechanical race, which had once flourished for hundreds of thousands of years in the Ancient God World, was reduced to countless severed limbs and remains awaiting disassembly into raw materials by the source insect mother.

Inside the Snake Mother Gourd, the special mechanical fire seeds began to grow with the nourishment provided from their reorganization.

Once they had reached their limit, Rosen eagerly integrated them into his body.

He could distinctly feel that every cell, every gene in his body was changing due to the fusion with the special mechanical fire seeds.

By the time the Ancient God's physical body was completely transformed, he had become a great true god-level mechanical lifeform, inside and out.

Rosen's brain, originally a biological computer fused with the Main God computer, now separated from the fusion, but it still retained the biological computer state.

No longer flowing with blood, his body was now energized. His flesh and blood had turned into countless mechanical parts. His skin had transformed into metal armor, his heart into a power engine, and his eyes into mechanical ones. He had become a mechanical lifeform superior to the mechanical race.

With a thought, Rosen's mechanical divine body instantly transformed into a fleshy divine body.

Unlike the mechanical race, which permanently abandoned their human bodies for mechanical ones, his fusion with the special mechanical fire seed allowed his body to freely switch between flesh and machinery. Furthermore, his mechanical divine body possessed the ability to shapeshift infinitely.

His special mechanical fire seed contained the essence of all the mechanical fire seeds of the mechanical race.

Thus, Rosen's mechanical divine body could reshape and transform all of the mechanical creations of the mechanical race. With a thought, his fleshy divine body turned into a mechanical divine body, then morphed into various models of starships, followed by different types of mechanical puppets. As long as it was mechanical, he could transform it. This limitless mechanical transformation ability was undoubtedly the core talent of the special mechanical fire seed.

However, it was uncertain whether this current state would be accepted by the Eternal Mechanical City.

Rosen walked out of the divine study and appeared at the municipal building of the Eternal Mechanical City.

Mechanical guards immediately teleported in and surrounded him, but this time, they didn't attack.

Clearly, the special mechanical fire seed within him had perfectly transformed him into a native of the Eternal Mechanical City.

[Detected the existence of a surviving individual from the Eternal Mechanical Race. Initiating mechanical soul detection…]

As the mechanical voice echoed in his ears, a terrifying mechanical wave penetrated his mechanical divine body, reaching his soul.

Ordinary mechanical fire seeds could only transform the body into a mechanical one, but the soul was not perfectly integrated into the mechanical body. Instead, it merged with the mechanical fire seed and the spiritual essence. This type of fusion clearly wouldn't be accepted by the Eternal Mechanical City.

However, Rosen's special mechanical fire seed had fully integrated both his body and soul into his mechanical divine body.

[Mechanical soul detection completed. Target identified as the sole surviving individual of the Eternal Mechanical Race…]

[According to the Eternal Mechanical City's regulations, when a higher-ranking member of the Eternal Mechanical Race falls, the lower-ranking members immediately inherit the privileges of the higher-ranking members under the special wartime clause. Commencing transfer of control of the Eternal Mechanical City…]

The moment the mechanical voice finished speaking, Rosen felt the mechanical source power within him resonate with the original essence of the Eternal Mechanical City.

Through this resonance, his Eternal Will began to gradually merge with the mechanical source seed.

Once the fusion was complete, Rosen easily gained control over the entire Eternal Mechanical City.

Though it appeared easy, it was far from simple.

Without risking an attack, there would have been no way to harvest the corpses of the Eternal Mechanical Race.

Without the root source seed and the birth source seed, at best, one could extract weakened mechanical fire seeds from the corpses, but not the special mechanical fire seeds. Without being able to capture the entire mechanical race, it would have been impossible to acquire the high-quality special mechanical fire seeds needed to transform him into an Eternal Mechanical Race member.

Rosen's brain, now a biological computer after fusing with the Main God computer, experienced another surge in computational power.

So, in less than half an hour, he had thoroughly familiarized himself with the Eternal Mechanical City.

He then learned that the correct term for the special mechanical fire seed within him was actually "mechanical fire seed source."

All mechanical fire seed sources had the ability to split off mechanical fire seeds at will.

Mechanical fire seeds could also self-split, but doing so would damage the original mechanical fire seed.

As a result, the population growth of the mechanical race was slow. However, with enough Eternal Mechanical essence, Rosen could now freely produce massive amounts of mechanical fire seeds and create an endless number of mechanical race members, allowing the Eternal Mechanical City to function at full capacity.

Rosen immediately took action, requisitioning all extraordinary sequences related to mechanics in the Ancient God True Realm.

He selected several demigods to help them master the ability to create avatars.

Finally, he helped them use the remains of the mechanical race to craft mechanical avatars, then infused these avatars with mechanical fire seeds, giving them mechanical race avatars that were nearly as strong as their original forms, and sent these avatars to occupy and control the Eternal Mechanical City.

Since all mechanical fire seeds were derivatives of Rosen's mechanical fire seed source, these mechanical race avatars would not be attacked by the Eternal Mechanical City.

The once cold and lifeless Eternal Mechanical City immediately became bustling with activity as tens of thousands of mechanical race avatars moved in.

At this moment, Rosen left the inner city and traveled to the outer city, which had previously been unreachable.

The outer city of the Eternal Mechanical City appeared as a flying saucer-shaped starship with a diameter of several hundred miles. Its size was quite small, but the interior was constructed entirely of low-quality true god-level extraordinary metals.

As for the surface of the Eternal Mechanical City, there was a layer of armor made entirely of immortal godfiend extraordinary metals.

Upon learning from his control over the city, Rosen discovered that this was not a mechanical creation of the immortal godfiend level, but rather an Eternal-level starship, a high-ranking Eternal Starship. However, it had suffered significant damage and had yet to be fully repaired, which led the World Will to misjudge its level.

If the World Will had known this was an Eternal Starship, it would never have allowed him to have it.
