"I thought I saw a familiar silhouette," they heard a familiar voice, and turned their heads.
It was Noah, standing in mid-air and smiling proudly.
"It's such an honor to meet the famous Alice Reinhart," he said and Alice rolled her eyes away.
The sight of him still made her feel sore in her mouth.
"Aw, don't be like that." Noah said and began to walk down like there were invisible stairs till his feet touched the top of the roof. "It hurts me every time you do that."
"Good. I wish it hurts you more." She said, coldly, and he snickered. "What are you doing here anyway? Aren't you supposed to be busy?"
"I don't think I'm as busy as you, oh hero of the world." He said and chuckled but she kept her serious gaze on him.
She didn't like his jokes, even if he was handsome.
Seeing she was serious, he cleared his throat and began.
