Danzo's office in the Root's basement. In this office, leaflets were scattered, all the furniture was smashed to pieces, and the elements of wind were used on the walls. The culprit of this mess sat on the floor and stared at one spot. Calming down a bit, he called Piglet and Rat.
"Piglet!"
"Yes, Danzo-sama?"
"I ordered you to keep an eye on everything that happens. Why did I only find out at the meeting that this bastard Tobi was discovered by the Hokage himself?"
"I'm sorry, Danzo-sama, but they were moving so fast that I couldn't keep up with them."
Slamming, Danzo punches Piglet's head with a fist of wind.
"Rat!"
"Yes, Danzo-sama?"
"Why didn't you warn me that the situation got out of control?"
"You ordered me not to reveal myself."
Slamming, he destroys Rat in half with wind technique.
"Mole!"
"Yes, Danzo-sama?"
"We might be exposed, so don't move and lie low here, tell everyone. This Tobi betrayed us, we'll have to hold off on the Uchihas for now. This blond bastard outplayed me, but no worries, he won't stay as Hokage for long. Find me Kakashi, let him come to me, we'll act through him."
"Understood!"
"And also, clean up here..."
"As you wish."
Kushina's Hospital Room
Kushina sat, her gaze lowered, pondering the fact that their beloved aunt, Kaname, was no longer with them. She had given her life to protect Konoha. But even such thoughts did not ease the bitterness of loss. When Minato entered, he simply approached her from behind and embraced her. Kushina cried even more at his touch, returning the embrace. When the tense atmosphere subsided, Minato broke the silence.
"Kushina, Miroku will stay a little longer with the Uchiha. So we need to pull ourselves together as soon as possible."
"Yes, you're right. They've allowed me to go to the cemetery tomorrow..."
"Kushina, I understand your pain; she was like a mother to me too. But with her sacrifice, she gave us and our children a chance."
"Our child!"
"What?"
"We now have only one child. How long until this demon distorts the mind of our second child? She said that in Suna, the jinchuriki of the one-tail began to behave like a monster. So, I've already come to terms with the loss of our son."
"Kushina, but..." Minato faltered, realizing Kushina was right. The child's mind was so elastic that it could be twisted in any direction. But he still had to say what he had been contemplating for the past two hours in his office.
"Kushina, anyway, we need to see Naruto one last time."
"Okay," she reluctantly agreed.
They walked down the corridor and saw a lot of wounded people who were unlucky. Climbing into the infant ward, they looked at their child, feeling a turmoil inside. Kushina couldn't bear it first; burying her face in her husband's chest, she began to speak angrily.
"Why? Why was he born to us? What punishment is this for us? If he hadn't been born, all these people would be alive. Kaname-san would be alive. And now, because of his birth, everyone suffers!"
Minato could only lower his gaze; he, too, began to think about it. If it weren't for his birth, they wouldn't have had to endure all of this.
"It was decided at the meeting to send him to the nursery, and then to an orphanage, and then his shinobi path will begin."
"I see..."
Minato decided to take his wife out of there because with each passing minute, seeing their son, she started to boil with anger.
The next day, they held funerals for all those who died that night. The Namikaze family mourned their aunt. The Sarutobi family mourned the death of Biwako. As well as others whose relatives and friends had died.

Konoha
This village just a week ago was thriving and giving the surrounding area a fragrant atmosphere. Everything changed in one single night. A night that changed the worldview of all people without exception. Indeed, who could pull on a happy smile after what had happened.
Many people and shinobi had far from pleasant thoughts lingering in their minds. After the funeral, many couldn't come to terms with their loss. You could literally tell by the look in their eyes - blank, grieving. Despite this, some still have hope for a bright future.
The very reason for their happiness was sealed in the small child lying in the couch amongst the rest of the newborns. Kyubey had lost consciousness after the sealing ritual and now lay inside the cage.
For all of Naruto's time in the hospital, he was fed three times a day or as he would request by roaring, after which he would fall asleep without making a sound. This child, after visiting Minato and Kushina, was visited only by Old Man Three.
Hiruzen entered the newborn room quietly, so as not to wake the other babies. As he approached, he saw a small child with wheat-colored hair, tanned skin, and a rounded face with stripes on his cheeks. Taking this little one in his arms, he could feel all the warmth emanating from him.
