Ryo had begun to grow tired of Aren's relentless attacks. The aura around him began to condense.
"Technique: White Cube," Ryo muttered in a calm voice.
Just as Aren prepared to launch another assault, a wall stopped him. A translucent, white barrier surrounded him completely. It was as if he were now trapped inside a cube.
"Enough playing around, don't you think?" Ryo said with a cold smile. "Your team isn't coming to save you. It seems I have no choice but to kill you. Not that you look like you're willing to talk."
Aren didn't stop. He began punching the walls, but it was futile. With growing desperation and rage, he continued his relentless assault.
Ryo narrowed his eyes. "Technique: Cube, Version Two – Airlessness."
Suddenly, the air within the cube vanished. Aren began to struggle to breathe.
Minutes passed. Exhausted from the lack of oxygen, Aren had no strength left to even throw another punch. His knees buckled, and he collapsed to the ground.
