"I choose the second option!"

Star-Lord immediately raised his hand and gave his answer.

He was never one to keep his promises. He'd agree for now, then find a chance to escape later. His legs were still his own—no one could keep an eye on him forever.

Right after choosing, he signaled to Yondu, who nodded and also chose the second option. Surviving came first.

"We choose the second option as well," Rocket Raccoon chimed in.

With his high intelligence, there was no way he wouldn't grasp the critical point here. He had successfully broken out of prison twenty times—there wasn't a prison in the galaxy he hadn't seen.

He was confident he could escape from this floating island prison and return to his carefree life. Who knows, maybe he'd even get another shot at stealing the Cosmic Cube and making a fortune.

Only Gamora didn't answer immediately. Instead, she frowned.

She wasn't the smartest one present, but as one of the galaxy's top spies, her instincts were second to none. Something didn't feel right.

They were all aliens—did George really not worry about them causing trouble at the school?

And when George smiled, it always carried an unsettling undertone.

"I choose the second option," she finally said.

Despite her unease, at this moment, if she wanted to stay alive, there was no other choice.

George, seeing their response, burst out laughing.

"Excellent. A wise decision. From today onward, you'll be known as the Superpowered Guardians. Your job will be to serve as liaisons between the school and extraterrestrial civilizations.

Tomorrow, you're leaving Earth with me!"

"Leaving Earth?"

The four were stunned at George's words. They hadn't expected the first task would be to leave the planet.

"Yes. Gamora, you're Thanos's adopted daughter. You should be able to contact him. Find out which planet he's currently on. Tomorrow, we'll set out to find him. We'll take him down first, then deal with everything else.

For now, go back to your dorms and get some rest."

After giving Gamora that final instruction, George grabbed the Cosmic Cube, vanished using a teleportation illusion, and left the four in stunned silence.

Why four?

Because Groot had spent the entire time confused about why he couldn't control his branches, completely missing everything George had said.

The next day, after saying their goodbyes to Professor X and the others, George boarded Star-Lord's spaceship with the five of them and departed Earth.

Their destination was the Ravagers' outpost ship stationed nearby. There, they would use the base's communication system to contact Thanos, determine his location, and then set off in pursuit.

"Principal, I really think you should reconsider. Thanos isn't as simple as you think. He's not alone—he has many powerful subordinates and commands a massive fleet that even the major empires fear."

Aboard Star-Lord's ship, Gamora tried to persuade George.

Having watched footage of George's battle with Cull, she knew he was powerful. But she believed Thanos was stronger—because Thanos was never alone.

She had never truly believed she could kill Thanos and take revenge. At most, she had hoped to escape his control.

The others wore the same worried expressions. This was the Mad Titan Thanos they were talking about. Facing him head-on? If George lost, they'd all be doomed.

"Don't worry. I already have a foolproof plan. We're definitely taking Thanos down."

Leaning back in his seat, George looked out at the beautiful starlit expanse and casually waved his hand.

It was natural for Gamora and the others to doubt him. At their level, they couldn't tell who was stronger—him or Thanos. They didn't understand that when power reached a certain threshold, numbers stopped mattering.

Besides, they had only watched the video of his battle with Cull. They hadn't experienced it for themselves.

It's just like seeing Godzilla on TV versus standing beneath its foot in real life—an entirely different kind of shock.

"I already have a foolproof plan."

Hearing George say that, the others couldn't help but breathe a little easier. Maybe it really wasn't impossible after all.

They just didn't know that George's so-called foolproof plan was to locate Thanos's fleet and then charge straight in, fighting from the frontlines and slaughtering everything in their way until it was over. If they knew, they probably wouldn't be able to sleep at night.

Half an hour later, Star-Lord's Ravager ship docked with Yondu's mothership.

"Boss, did it go well? Who are they?"

The Ravagers on the mothership, seeing Yondu and Star-Lord return, immediately gathered around excitedly. But when they noticed George, Gamora, and the others, confusion spread across their faces.

Before Yondu could speak, George stepped forward and said:

"Starting today, I'm taking control of this ship. From now on, your leader Yondu will follow my orders—and so will all of you."

"And who the hell are you supposed to be? Why should we take orders from you? You look just like that punk Peter, another Terran. I've never eaten a Terran before—guess I'll boil you up and see how you taste!"

The burly Ravager with the electric-scarred face burst into loud, mocking laughter at George's words, like he'd just heard a joke.

But the next second, a green beam struck him. His body and soul disintegrated into dust, vanishing without a trace.

"I don't like ugly guys who talk too much."

George withdrew his hand, a cold smile on his face.

Were Ravagers good people?

Of course not. Don't be fooled by their slogans about fighting for freedom—they'd burned, looted, and killed just as much as anyone. Killing any one of them could practically be called an act of justice.

In fact, Yondu's team was worse than most other Ravagers. Some of his worst men had joined him because he had broken the Ravager code against trafficking children.

But George didn't care about any of that. It wasn't his concern.

He was only doing this to establish dominance—to make it crystal clear who was in charge now.

No obedience? Then die. It was that simple.

"You bastard!"

Seeing their comrade vaporized by some unknown power, the Ravagers were shocked—but not scared off. They drew their weapons and charged at George.

The result was obvious.

With just a flick of George's finger, every weapon in the room flew from their hands and turned around—pointing straight back at them.

"Twenty billion volts!"

A surge of high-voltage electricity erupted from George, striking every Ravager. One by one, they collapsed to the ground, smoke rising from their mouths as they twitched.

"Yondu, tell them again—who's the boss of this ship now?"

"From today on, George is the captain of this ship! His orders are my orders, and they must be obeyed!"

A bead of sweat rolled down Yondu's forehead as he stepped forward and shouted at his moaning, scorched subordinates.

Truth be told, he was just as shocked as they were.

George always had a cheerful, easygoing smile on his face, and Yondu had assumed everything he said back in the office was just to scare them.

But after seeing George kill someone as casually as stepping on an ant, he realized—George might actually be even scarier than that Mad Titan himself.
