"Whose child is this, and where are your elders?" a noble asked.
"I am Abus, Abus Mather, and I am the eldest male in my family," Abus declared, puffing out his chest.
"Mather? Am I so old that my memory fails me, or does this surname sound unfamiliar?" another noble remarked.
"That's because I am not of noble birth," Abus's cheeks flushed slightly, "but I have been training hard, hoping to become an honorable knight one day…"
However, before he could finish speaking, he was interrupted by the noble with the hooked nose who frowned and said, "Then why are you here now?"
"Well… actually, he is my attendant," Orwell said hurriedly, "I brought him here to gain some experience."
"Then you had better keep an eye on him."
"I apologize to everyone for his rude behavior just now," the Wandering Knight said, planning to pull Abus to a corner.
Yet, unexpectedly, the youth resisted fiercely and broke free from his grasp, exclaiming, "What did I say wrong?!"
