Chi Yue looked entirely calm, "You know?"
Fu Rongyin sensed that something was off and pulled her into his embrace, "Trust me, you are the only one for me."
Chi Yue tugged at the corner of her mouth, "I know, you indeed have no one but me now."
She reached out to grab the photo in his hand, but Fu Rongyin hid it behind him.
A simple action caused both of them to pause.
Fu Rongyin subconsciously explained, "Let me keep these photos first, I'm worried they might upset you."
Chi Yue looked down, masking her emotions, "I've seen them already, and I've seen them several times."
Fu Rongyin's expression tensed, "Yueyue, I really have nothing to do with her."
"If that's the case, why are you so nervous?"
Fu Rongyin didn't speak.
He rarely was this silent.
With his silence, Chi Yue's heart slowly sank.
She strode towards the exit, but he caught her at the entryway.
"Chi Yue, what can I do to make you trust me?"
