"Didn't you tell me when you got back? I would have come to pick you up."
He walked over to Chi Yue, sizing her up, "You've lost weight. If it's too tiring, I'll find a trustworthy caregiver so you can rest more."
Chi Yue didn't delay like she always did; as he approached her, she suddenly furrowed her brow, "Have you been drinking?"
"Yeah, there was a rather important social engagement tonight, didn't drink much."
Chi Yue didn't like it when he drank. He knew that, especially after his surgery, he hadn't touched alcohol for a very long time.
Chi Yue stepped back, "Go wash up, the smell is a bit strong."
Fu Rongyin smiled, "Okay."
Fu Rongyin went into the room, and Chi Yue's expression collapsed.
He certainly hadn't noticed that his body carried not only the smell of alcohol but also the scent of a woman's perfume.
