The host turned dramatically to Alexander. "Mr. Carter, do you accept?"
Everyone leaned forward, expecting him to politely decline. But Alexander only glanced at Lilith for a heartbeat — a spark of something dangerous, teasing in his eyes and then turned back to the host with a slow nod.
"Yes," he said simply. His deep voice carried through the room like a dark promise.
Gasps and cheers broke out across the audience. Even some of the other star looked surprised.
Lilith tilted her head, her smile sharpening like a blade. "So we're playing, hm?"
Alexander's lips curved into that same rare, sinful smile, the one that made her heartbeat skip. "Anything you want… Miss Lilith."
The host clapped her hands together, her excitement making the audience lean forward in their seats.
"Alright, everyone!" she said brightly, microphone in hand. "Since our special pair, Miss Lilith and Mr. Carter, have agreed to play with us tonight, let's invite a few more pairs, shall we?"
