"Hey… did you see that…?"
"Yeah… was that… was that really All Might?!"
People watching from their TVs were completely stunned. The helicopter broadcast had captured everything, and one of the cameras had been locked onto All Might, who had been trapped in steel wires, unable to move.
But in that brief instant, everyone saw it—how All Might had broken free from Midoriya Izuku's steel restraints.
When Togata Mirio knocked Midoriya aside, Midoriya had been fully focused on tracking "Lemillion" with his steel wires, trying to predict his next move.
But at the exact moment Mirio launched his attack, something changed—All Might, who had been tightly bound, suddenly shrank. His muscles deflated in an instant, revealing his weakened form. He had just exposed his deepest secret to the entire world.
And because his body size had drastically decreased, the steel wires lost their grip, and he broke free. As he fell from the air, his body swelled back up, returning to his usual heroic form. Using the sliced-off top of Tokyo Skytree as a foothold, he propelled himself with full force toward Midoriya Izuku.
"Final! Smash!!"
A punch that could shake the weather. A blow strong enough to crush mountains. Midoriya Izuku fell like a meteor, slamming into the ground and creating a massive crater. Even the three buildings nearby crumbled into ruins from the impact.
All Might had made his choice—he was willing to reveal his true state to the world if it meant he could take down Midoriya Izuku.
People were stunned by All Might's transformation, but at the same time, their eyes were locked onto the deep crater, waiting to see Midoriya Izuku's condition. As the dust and smoke cleared, the scene finally became visible.
Standing at the edge of the crater, All Might and Togata Mirio saw him.
Midoriya Izuku—his clothes torn and tattered—was still standing. Blood from his forehead had dyed the left side of his face red.
"…Even that wasn't enough to take him down?"
A hint of despair flashed in All Might's eyes. That punch had been everything he had. If even his strongest attack couldn't bring Midoriya down, then Mirio's attacks wouldn't be able to defeat him either.
"That really hurt…"
Midoriya wiped his face with his left hand, staring at his blood-soaked palm. But that was all it was—just blood. His wounds were already healing, thanks to his "Super Regeneration" Quirk.
"But… it's about time."
Standing in the middle of the crater, Midoriya Izuku looked up at All Might and Togata Mirio, who were standing at the edge. More people were rushing toward the scene, eager to witness what would happen next.
"It's time to end this."
Reaching into what was left of his pocket, Midoriya took out a small metal sphere and crushed it in his palm. The "Harbinger of Hell" appeared in his right hand.
"Not good!"
"Damn it!!"
Both All Might and Togata Mirio realized what was happening at the same time. Without hesitation, they rushed toward Midoriya Izuku—he had been carrying that thing with him all along.
"You're too late!"
Midoriya slammed his left hand down onto the red activation button. Instantly, the metal device, about the size of a basketball, began counting down.
**60 seconds… 59 seconds…**
"New Hampshire Smash!!"
In just a second, All Might reached Midoriya Izuku and delivered a powerful punch, sending him flying. At the same time, he grabbed the "Harbinger of Hell" from Midoriya's hand.
"Stop it!!"
All Might held the device tightly, shaking it desperately, but the countdown on the screen continued without hesitation.
58 seconds… 57 seconds…
"Just a friendly reminder—if you try to break it with brute force, it'll only explode ahead of time. The countdown is just a safety buffer I built in."
"And don't even think about throwing it into the air. Unless you can launch it out of Earth's atmosphere in one go, I won't be responsible for the disaster it causes."
Midoriya Izuku's warning sent All Might into a full-blown panic. There was no safe way to handle the terrifying weapon Midoriya had created.
"All Might, leave it to me!"
Togata Mirio snatched the "Hellbringer" from All Might's hands and sprinted away without looking back. At this moment, it was a race against time.
"Wait… Could it be?"
Midoriya Izuku froze for a moment. Mirio's actions made him realize a flaw in his plan—a way the heroes could safely dispose of the "Hellbringer."
"Not a chance!"
Realizing his mistake, Midoriya reacted immediately. He shot out of the massive crater, locking onto Mirio as he dashed forward. Swinging his right hand down with force,
Countless steel wires burst from the air, sweeping down like a tidal wave. Midoriya's goal was simple—detonate the "Hellbringer" himself.
"Don't forget about me!"
"Detroit Smash!!"
A violent gust tore through the air, blowing back the thousands of steel wires closing in on Mirio. At the same time, All Might flashed forward, ramming Midoriya with a brutal headbutt.
Dizzy from the blow to his forehead, Midoriya found himself tightly restrained by All Might. As the No.1 Hero, it was his duty to shield the others from the enemy.
"Mirio, it's all up to you now! Hurry!!"
…48 seconds… 47 seconds…
The countdown on the "Hellbringer" continued. This one-minute window would determine the battle between the heroes and the League of Villains. Mirio pushed forward at full speed toward his destination—where someone was already waiting.
Night Eye had planned for this. After learning from U.A. that the "Hellbringer" had a 60-second countdown, he devised a way to neutralize it. Only one person could safely dispose of such a dangerous weapon.
"Faster, faster!!"
Mirio raced against time as the countdown ticked away—40 seconds… 39 seconds…
"Stop right there!"
Midoriya Izuku's voice rang out behind Mirio, followed by a flash of silver ahead of him. Three towering buildings were sliced in half, and the collapsing structures crashed down in front of him, blocking his path.
Carrying the "Hellbringer," Mirio couldn't use "Permeation" to phase through the debris. Midoriya had caught up, and All Might was completely tangled in steel wires, unable to move.
36 seconds… 35 seconds…
The countdown continued. Mirio was trapped, Midoriya was closing in, and the heroes were once again backed into a corner.
But just then… he appeared.
"Destroying public property isn't very nice, Midoriya."
The debris blocking Mirio's path suddenly vanished. Standing in front of Midoriya was a figure in an astronaut suit—U.A. High's teacher, the space hero "Thirteen."
"So it's you, Mr. Thirteen."
Midoriya wasn't surprised. Night Eye's countermeasure against the "Hellbringer" had been simple—let Thirteen use his "Black Hole" to send it somewhere unknown.
As Mirio held the "Hellbringer," Thirteen's black hole was already pulling it in. The only way Midoriya could stop this now… was to kill Thirteen.
But he abandoned that idea immediately. Thirteen was a hero worthy of respect, someone who had saved countless lives in disasters.
31 seconds… 30 seconds…
As the "Hellbringer" finally disappeared into the black hole, Mirio let out a deep breath of relief.
"Midoriya Izuku, your plan has failed!"
"Oh? Is that so?"
Togata Mirio's firm and righteous words were completely ignored by Midoriya Izuku. Plan failed? That was impossible.
"You brushed off my 'mercy' and felt proud of it? Then get ready to face 'cruelty' instead!"
"League of Villains, close the net!"
At Midoriya's command, Mirio's head snapped up. In that moment, a massive steel wire net spread across the entire Tokyo skyline, reaching far beyond the visible horizon.
